It is a third-person squad shooter set on an alien-infested planet, and players can use a wide variety of weapons to conquer the planet. Furthermore, it allows you to team up with your friends and get rid of alien threats.

Helldivers 2 has a set of missions that players need to complete. One such mission is to activate the Terminid Control Systems. It isn’t easy to just initiate the activation sequence, as there are a series of steps you need to follow. Luckily, this guide explains everything you need to know.

Activating The Terminid Control Systems

Initiating The Termicide Tower

First, locate the Central Termcide Tower. It is a huge structure with large exhaust vents at the top. You’ll find a yellow control panel at its base. Interact with it by pressing the button to activate the Tower. This triggers the tower’s ascension, but the Termicide dispersion system will require power.

The Battery Silos

The next step is to activate the three Battery Silos that are scattered around the facility. They are marked on the map as large, tower-like structures with battery icons. Visit each silo and locate the terminal. When you interact with the terminal, an activation sequence is initiated.

After the activation sequence has started, waves of enemies will unleash attacks on your team. Be ready to defend yourself.

Termicide Dispersal and Extraction

Once all three of the Battery Silos are fully charged, head towards the designated extraction zones marked on the map. Look for another terminal in the extraction zone and interact with it to initiate the Termicide Dispersal sequence. This process will begin cleansing the planet of the Terminid infestation. Upon completing the mission, make your way to the extraction point to secure a well-deserved victory.

Tips for Success

Loadout Selection

Equip weapons and armor that are capable of withstanding close-quarters combat. You will be defending confined spaces around the silos and will need weapons that excel in such situations. Bring a few grenades for crowd control.

Kill Streaks

Use Strategems, as they will enhance your defensive capabilities. Deployable Turrets and Airstrikes will be a great addition to your firepower against relentless bugs.
