Cyberpunk 2077 has memorable missions and enemy types that keep players returning for more. One such mission, “I Walk the Line,” involves going against numerous enemies before facing Matilda K. Rose. The tanky brute is also known as Sasquatch, and she has given many players a run for their money.
Sasquatch may be brutal to fight at close range, but she can be beaten with a bit of planning. This means players must ensure they are well-equipped before they attempt to complete the mission. Although it's not an easy feat, this guide provides an easy way to defeat Sasquatch in Cyberpunk 2077, along with other useful information.
How to Increase the Solo Skill in Cyberpunk 2077
Learn about weapons and cyberware that can increase the Solo Skill in Cyberpunk 2077, along with a few tips and tricks.
How to Kill or Sneak Past Sasquatch
To kill Sasquatch, follow these simple steps:
- Sneak behind the brute and use a long-range weapon like a sniper rifle to shoot the purple crystal on her back, then perform a takedown.
- After destroying the crystal, Sasquatch will not be able to regenerate her health. Now, players can fight her by staying at a safe distance to avoid her devasting attacks. Use ranged weapons and hacks like Short-Circuit to stun her.
- Since the enemy can teleport and attack quickly, players should move away instead of attempting to counter her.
- Prioritize shooting her in the head to take her down as quickly as possible. After killing her, players can loot her body for unique items like an M-10AF Lexington Pistol and more.
Use the surroundings as leverage, like explosive barrels, to inflict massive damage. Also, use weapons that deal fire damage, like the Mantis Bladers or Incendiary Grenades.
How to Skip the Boss Fight
Surprisingly, there is a way to avoid the boss fight entirely via stealth.
Players must avoid making too much noise or drawing any attention while making their way to the theater entrance. If done correctly, V can sneak past Matilda with ease. This workaround involves investing in hacks and gear to sneak past Matilda. Although it's understandable to want to avoid the confrontation, players will miss out on some amazing loot that could come in handy later on.
Regardless of one’s choice, after getting past Sasquatch, players will get one step closer to unraveling a huge conspiracy, which could potentially lead V to a cure for the chip that is destroying his/her brain.
