All Camera Controls in Tiny Glade

All Camera Controls in Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade doesn't have any movement, but it does have a camera that players can control. As a 3D game, players can move the camera in almost all directions, though they are restricted by the limits of the glade that they're inhabiting. You can move the camera around in the glade, increase or decrease your zoom level, increase or decrease your height, and rotate your camera to get different perspectives. By default, the controls for the camera are as follows:

  • Move Around: Arrow Keys, Middle Mouse Button + Move Mouse Around
  • Rotate Camera: Right Mouse Button + Move Mouse Around
  • Move Up and Down: E to move up, Q to move down
  • Zoom in and Zoom Out: Mouse Wheel
  • Hotkeys: 1-9, T to change time, and P for Photo Mode

If these controls aren't working for you, navigate to your controls menu and reset them to the default settings. Press Esc to pause the game, and press the gear icon to open the settings menu of the game. Here, navigate to the Controls menu, and shift between one of six pages to see what controls you currently have.

You can change the rotation and movement speed here, and invert the X/Y axis if you want to.

Tips for Taking Better Pictures in Tiny Glade

Tips for taking better pictures in Tiny Glade

Having a good subject doesn't mean that you'll be able to take a good photo of that subject. You'll need to understand some basic principles of photography, and gain at least a surface level understanding of all the photography mechanics in the game to take good pictures. Here are some tips to get you started on that journey:

  • Research and use rules of composition to create interesting scenes: The rule of thirds, the golden ratio, leading lines, etc., are rules of composition that professional photographers use to make their photographs interesting and beautiful. Look into those very same rules to take engaging photographs in Tiny Glade as well.
  • Optimize the lighting and shadows: Change the position of the sun using the in-game settings to get the perfect lighting for your subject. Good lighting is key to a good photo.
  • Utilize the tools you have to your benefit and understand the camera settings: Try out everything in the toolbar to see how it interacts with the environment, and with itself. Understand what kind of photo you want to capture, and use your knowledge to make your vision a reality.
  • Use different settings for different scenes: One size never fits all, especially not when it comes to photography, whether it be in-game or in real life. Change the settings according to the time of day, the subject, and the kind of photograph you're shooting.
