Tanks pose a great danger to players as they can almost one-shot Hawker in Sniper Elite Resistance. If you use normal bullets or grenades against one, its tough armor will simply repel all damage and the tank will start targeting you. However, destroying a tank is not impossible as there are two easy ways that you can use to do this. However, it'll require you to sneak close enough to the tank and avoid detection at all costs.

Sniper Elite Resistance is a visually stunning game and here are some of the best PC settings you can use to enhance its performance further.

Destroy a Tank with a Satchel Charge

One of the easiest ways to destroy a tank in Sniper Elite Resistance is through a Satchel Charge. You'll need to place the charge between the two exhausts behind the tank.

Make sure to get close to the tank while its cannon is facing away from you. If it turns towards you, go prone immediately.

Now, you can either light the Satchel Charge's fuse, head to a safe distance, and wait for it to explode. It'll first destroy the exterior shell of the tank, exposing the engine inside. After that, you can either wait for the tank to explode or simply shoot at the engine to do it faster.

Alternatively, you can just plant the Satchel Charge and shoot it from a distance with your sniper to blow it up. This way, you can blow up the tank once you're far away to avoid detection.

Destroy a Tank with a Sniper Rifle

Another way to destroy a tank is by using your sniper rifle with Armor Piercing (AP) rounds. This method does not require you to get close to the tank, but you should be in a position where the tank's back is clearly visible.

Once you're in position, equip your sniper rifle and switch to armor-piercing rounds. Now, aim at the circular shape between the two tank exhausts and shoot once. The area will be cracked after the first shot and there will be some gas leaking from inside.

Fire another shot at the same location to break the exterior armor of the tank's back to reveal a red-glowing engine on the back. Now you'll need to shoot the engine to burst the tank into flames, and it'll eventually get destroyed.

Regardless of what method you choose, players will receive the Tank Terminator Ribbon after destroying a tank in Sniper Elite Resistance. You can view the Ribbon inside the Service Records menu. Unfortunately, there's no trophy tied to this action.
