Players must go through several steps before they can drop a tactical nuke in Warzone 2, which are as follows:

Players must win five Warzone games in a row before dropping a tactical nuke, meaning players can only drop the nuke in their sixth game.
After winning five Warzone games, players must get the Champion’s Quest contract in the next game, marked with a yellow crown. The quest will require the player and their teammates to collect three elements from all over the map. The player and their teammates must hold on to these items throughout the game.
After collecting the three elements, players need to wait for the third circle to close, marking the end of the game. Once the third ring collapses, a plane will fly over, revealing the detonation site, marked with a nuclear icon. Players will have three minutes to get to the detonation site with the three elements.
After reaching the detonation site, place the three elements within the container and hold the interact button to arm the nuke. If done correctly, the player will get a message informing them the nuclear bomb has been armed, which will start another timer for two minutes.
