How to Feed the Hungry Dog in Tiny Bookshop

Players will encounter a stray dog that will be lying towards the right of the bookshop in front of a closed store in Tiny Bookshop. After interacting with the dog, you'll find out that the poor thing is hungry and needs a snack. You'll need to progress a bit further into the game if you want to find the snack to feed the stray dog. Here's what you need to do exactly.

Where to Find a Snack for the Stray Dog

After spending a few days in the Waterfront Square region of the Tiny Bookshop, players will encounter Walt the Sailor NPC towards the left of the bookshop. He's a friendly vendor who'll require you to complete a quest for him, the first of which is to sell 20 books to sailor customers. Once the quest is complete, the next quest will require you to decorate your bookshop with some Maritime items.

Once both quests are complete, Walt will invite players to visit the Waterfront Square on a Wednesday to experience the hustle and bustle of the Fish Market.

So, carry on with your day-to-day routine of selling books and setting up shop in Waterfront Square on Wednesday to see Walt's offerings at the Fish Market. One of the items Walt will offer is Raw Fish for 12 coins. This will be the perfect snack for our fluffy stray friend across the shop.

Adopting the Stray Dog

Once you buy the fish, interact with the stray dog, and you'll get the option to feed the fish to it. Once the dog is well-fed, it'll be thankful to you and refuse to leave the area. At this point, players will get an option to adopt the stray dog and keep him near the bookshop at all times.

Adopting the stray dog will add an expense of 3 coins per day, but players will receive +2 coins upon recommending the right book to a customer in Tiny Bookshop.
