Exploration and scavenging are two of the most important things in Arc Raiders. All of the resources that the players gather before leaving can be used as crafting materials or to upgrade benches, weapons, and more. One of the items that players will need fairly early on in the game is the ARC Motion Core.

As the game includes no information on how to find these, it can be quite challenging exploring every map and trying to find a way to make this drop. The guide below offers information on how players can get these in Arc Raiders.

How to Get ARC Motion Core in Arc Raiders 2

The ARC Motion Cores are quite rare to get in the game, but luckily, there are multiple ways to get them, so you can try all of them and see how your luck pans out. The first method is to find and destroy the ball-shaped ARC enemies, Surveyors. These are not the easiest to find since there will be, in most cases, one in every map. Even if you do end up finding them, they will be rolling away from you, which makes destroying them a much harder task.

An easy way to locate them is to load up an open map like Dam Battlegrounds or Blue Gate and look to the sky to spot a constant blue beam. You can then make your way over to them and start the attack.

If you have the Showstopper grenade on you, then this will be quite advantageous. This is because the grenade can stun enemies in a radius, allowing you to lay down fire afterwards.

You can loot the machine after you have destroyed it to find the ARC Motion Cores.

Besides Surveyors, you can also breach open the Arc Droids, which also have a chance of containing these cores for you to grab. Another option is to fight the larger ARC enemies in the game, like the Leaper, Rocketeer, and more. These enemies break down into multiple parts and can drop valuable loot, one of which can be the ARC Motion Cores.

You can craft the ARC Motion Core using six ARC Alloy as well, but for that, you will need Refiner Level 3. When it comes to the item's practical use, you can use it to craft a Magnetic Accelerator and use it to upgrade the Refiner. If you decide to recycle these items, then you will get two ARC Alloys.
