Hollow Knight: Silksong allows players to equip various tools with their selected crest to survive the ever-increasing difficult foes in Pharloom.
Curveclaw is one of these tools that allows players to launch a boomerang-like aerial project that bounces off flying enemies and deals them damage. It's a great tool that players can use in combination with normal attacks to dispatch those pesky hard-to-reach enemies quickly.
Silksong: Where to Find Jubilana in Wandering Merchant Quest
Players can unlock Jubilana's shop by completing the Wandering Merchant quest in Silksong, which will allow players to buy the Ascendant’s Grip tool.
How to Get the Curveclaw Tool in Silksong (Hunter's March Secret Vendor Location)
Hunter's March is an area infested with ant-like enemies called the Skarr in Silksong. The area is sandwiched between Bone Marrow and Far Fields, and players will naturally pass through it, unless they opt to go through Deep Docks.
First, players will need to get the
Drifter's Cloak by completing the Flexile Spines quest in Far Fields to get the Curveclaw. Once you've unlocked the ability, head to the area marked on the map above. You'll be able to use the air currents to float your way to the top, and right at the entrance to the cave of the secret vendor, Mottled Skarr.
Once you head inside, you'll spot a few ropes with Shards sticking out of them. Players will need to hug the left wall and jump a few times to enter a secret passageway that leads to the Hunter's March secret vendor. After a brief platforming section, you'll finally reach the Mottled Skarr, the secret vendor of Hunter's March.
Players can purchase a host of items from the vendor, including Curveclaw for 140 Rosary Beads. The description of the Curveclaw can only be deciphered once players purchase the tool. Simply equip it while resting on a bench, and you'll be able to throw an arched sharpbone (boomerang-shaped) item at both flying and grounded enemies.
Where to Find Curveclaw After Act 2?
If you've reached Act Two of Silksong and progressed past the Underworks into the Coral Chambers, Mottled Skarr will have been killed by an unknown attacker. However, it's not all doom and gloom yet, as you can still get the Curveclaw, and you don't even have to travel that far.
By now, you'll have the wall jump ability (
Cling Grip), so you'll be able to access the cavern above. Simply exit the cave and into the open, and use the wall climb ability on the surface right above the cave entrance, and reach the floating platform.
Now reach the cave to the left, and you'll be ambushed by Skarr forces inside.
After defeating all the enemies, the locked area will open up, and you'll be able to pick up the Curveclaw to the left of the cave, strapped to a rope. This is how players can still get the Curveclaw in Silksong, despite the Hunter March's secret vendor being dead.
