The Outer Worlds 2 offers players a variety of weapons to help them fight their way through the forces of Auntie's Choice, the Protectorate, the Order, and all manner of creatures that lurk in the shadows of the planets you explore. While some are pretty standard stuff, others are far more interesting. One of the most unique weapons is the Rookie's Reward, which can be leveled up and grows more powerful. As such, this has got some players wondering what the Rookie's Reward max level cap is in The Outer Worlds 2, and how to get it.
How to Get More Inhaler Charges in Outer Worlds 2
Your primary source of healing in Outer Worlds 2 is the Medical Inhaler, but if you don't find more Inhaler Charges, you may run out.
How to Get Rookie's Reward in The Outer Worlds 2
The Rookie's Reward can be obtained by lockpicking a locker on board The Incognito (your ship). To find it, head onto your ship and into the main lobby area. From here, take the first left and then a right, and you'll enter a room with a workbench immediately on your left.
On the right wall of this room, you'll find the locker and behind its grated doors you'll see the Rookie's Reward behind it. To get inside, you'll either need to use your lockpicking skill (which needs to be leveled to 11 to successfully get inside), or turn off the conveniently hidden power switch in the same room.
To find the power switch, head over to where the workbench is in the corner and jump up on top of the boxes to its right. On the wall just behind them, you'll find a power switch. Interact with this and the doors to the locker will swing open, allowing you to grab the Rookie's Reward from inside.
What the Rookie's Reward Max Level Is in The Outer Worlds 2 (& How to Level It Up)
The unique perk of Rookie's Reward is that it levels up with usage. With each level, it'll deal more damage and generally become far more effective in combat. As such, the best way to level it up is to try and find easy, weak enemies to farm kills with. The Rookie's Reward isn't great when you first start using it, so the easier you can make the grind, the sooner you're going to start getting the benefit from it.
The Rookie's Reward has a max level cap of level 30. This is the same as the max level cap for your own character, though skills can only be leveled up to a maximum of 20.
