Raiders aren't the only threat in Arc Raiders, as players must be extremely cautious of the ARC enemies as well. Some ARC enemies can take out the player's entire health in mere seconds, so it's best to strategize and plan accordingly beforehand. The Sentinel Firing Core is a recyclable item in the game that players will need if they want to upgrade their Gunsmith Station to Level 3. This guide offers information on the location of these items and how to acquire them in Arc Raiders.

How to Get Sentinel Firing Core in Arc Raiders
Sentinel Firing Cores can be acquired from the Sentinels, which are the powered-up versions of the normal turrets you might have seen around in different areas. These machines take a few seconds before firing a single shot, similar to a shot from a sniper rifle, which will decimate your shield and leave you severely wounded.
It's best to initiate a fight with these turrets near any form of cover so you can peek in and out to damage the exterior.
Once you land enough shots, it will blow up, and the remains will drop down on the ground. If you are in an elevated position and shoot it from above, it will drop all the way down, so be careful not to drop down yourself, as drop damage is very much a thing in this game.
Looting the machine will get you the Sentinel Firing Core, and you can make your way to the location of another Sentinel, though finding more than one in a single map is going to be very rare, as other Raiders might have destroyed them by the time you reach it.
One of the possible early-game locations for these Sentinels is near the Research & Administration building in Dam Battlegrounds. If you look at the blue stairs going up, you will see a Sentinel fixed on top. Blue Gate is also a good map to find these. One possible location is on top of the main building in Pilgrim's Peak, and the other is inside the Headhouse if you go through the Outer Gates.
If you recycle the Sentinel Firing Core, you will get two ARC Alloys and three Mechanical Components, both of which are useful in crafting and other upgrades.
