Where to Find Soil in LEGO Fortnite

First and foremost, players should have a shovel to dig up the soil. A shovel can be crafted with the help of a Lumber Mill that can be used to turn wood into planks and rods. Initially, players must unlock the shovel's recipe by constructing the Crafting Bench.

  • After these requirements are fulfilled, players should get three Wooden Rods and one Plank by processing Wood. Using these materials, players can build a Common Shovel, which they can use to get soil.
  • Take the shovel and roam around your village for a bit. Look for a spot where there’s plenty of space to build crops. Once you’ve decided on the spot, start digging. Players can get soil by hitting any grassy surface with a shovel.

The soil you collect can be used for growing crops. But players must realize that they need a Garden Plot for crops. Unlocking a Garden Plot is relatively easy. Players can unlock it by using the shovel for the first time to collect soil.

Afterward, collect two Soil and one Fertilizer for the Garden Plot. Although Fertilizer is abundant in the game, collecting it is more complex than collecting soil.
