In survival horror, codes and puzzles are a core mechanic, immersing players in the world and challenging them to think critically while managing limited resources. After extracting Edward in Cronos: The New Dawn, players will find their next target located inside the dive point in the Steelworks, which is a very hostile location. The area is filled with multiple locked doors that require either keys or codes to access.

One of the earlier doors players will come across is the Hall B door, which requires a code. The guide offers information on where to go for the code in Cronos: The New Dawn.

Cronos: The New Dawn checks most of the survival-horror boxes, but is held back by clunky combat and an underwhelming narrative.

How To Get the Hall B Code Inside the Steelworks in Cronos: The New Dawn

After coming across the Hall B gate, turn right toward the red door and enter the room where you will encounter a large enemy repeatedly banging its head on a metal cabinet. On your right, there is a blast canister you can lure the creature toward and shoot to stagger it for a few seconds. Once it has been dealt with, you can explore the room to your right, which is locked by chains and requires your Boltcutters. Inside, you will find some Energy and a Valuable item that can be sold for weapon upgrades.

Now, go to the left of the room where you fought the large enemy and exit through the mechanical door to reach outside. You will spot a gate leading to the Isolation Zone up ahead, which requires its own code, and another door to your left, which is your next objective.

Be wary of enemies, especially the ones stuck on the wall that can grab you if you are in their line of sight.

The Time Oddity Section

Ignore the Time Oddity for now and head left. You will find some Biomass that you can burn, revealing a Time Oddity that opens the path on the right. Head back to the first Time Oddity and interact with it to cause the cylinder to move left. Go to the right path now, once again being careful of enemies on the walls. Here you will find another Time Oddity inside a room with breakable wooden planks that can be destroyed using your melee attack.

Go up the stairs and into the room ahead to find the code for the Hall B door, which is 3-6-4. Head back the same way you came and open it to progress. You will find many creatures in your path, but this route leads back to the Saving station.
