Healing in Hollow Knight: Silksong is a bit different because in the previous installment, players used to heal one shard at a time, which meant healing to full would take considerably more time. In this game, however, Hornet can use her Silk to regenerate three masks after the animation is complete.
Now, this does not mean that the healing does not have any cons, as you can still get hit by an enemy and lose your Silk, as well as not regain any health. To somewhat avoid this from happening, players can equip the Warding Bell. The guide below offers information on the location of the bell and what it does in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Should You Free Grindle in Silksong?
Found in a sub-area of the Marrow, players must decide whether they should free the prisoner Grindle in Silksong.

How to Get the Warding Bell in Silksong
To get the Warding Bell, you will first have to make your way to the Far Fields, which is not an easy task given that you have to explore the whole of The Marrow, head right into the Deep Docks, and fight Lace there. After your encounter with Lace, keep going right, and you will soon reach the Far Fields, which puts you very close to the item. Keep going in the right direction, and when you reach a vertical room with airstreams going up, first you should go right into the small room up ahead to find Shakra, selling the map of the Far Fields.
There is a Bench and Bellway point right above the map's location, but you will have to pay a bit of Rosaries if you want to access them.
After resting at the bench and recovering your health, head back into the main room and head down all the way to the bottom left, where you will find a path to the left. Once you go inside, you will come to a small room, which might seem to be a dead end, but you can actually jump up and to the right to find the Warding Bell lying on a corpse on top.
What Does the Warding Bell Do in Silksong?
Once you have acquired the Warding Bell, you can equip it in place of your blue Tools. The Bell shields you whenever you use the Bind ability to heal yourself. This is a must-have Tool in your inventory and goes above any other blue Tool you have on you. The healing animation takes quite a bit of time, and getting hit during it is very likely, but if you have this equipped, you will not take any damage. However, the healing animation will be canceled. If an enemy hits at the last second of the Bind, you will still get the heal off and also not take any damage whatsoever.
