Helldivers 2 has taken the world by storm by delivering an exceptional MMO experience. It puts the likes of other looters like the recent Suicide Squad to shame. Unlike other games, Helldivers 2 does not disappoint in the weapons department either, offering unique weapons to keep players returning for more.
Speaking of unique weapons, the
EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank is a must-have for players who want to take out armored enemies with ease. Unfortunately, many players do not know how to get the weapon, let alone use it. Keeping this in mind, this guide will cover everything there is to know about getting the EAT-17 in Helldivers 2 so that you can deliver democracy and freedom to every corner of the galaxy.
Helldivers 2 Player Has a Great Idea to Stop Friendly Fire Griefing
A Helldivers 2 player online comes up with a great idea that would put a stop to friendly fire griefing in certain situations.
How to Get the EAT-17 in Helldivers 2
The EAT-17 Stratagem is also known as the Expendable Anti-Tank 17, and it is a single-use weapon that does devastating damage to armored enemy units. Initially, the EAT-17 was not given much importance, and was considered nothing more than a support weapon. But after the recent patch, it has become a must-have for players working on damage builds.
If you want to get the EAT-17 in Helldivers 2 for your build, here is what you need to do:
- Get to level three.
- Access the Ship Management terminal.
- Go to the Stratagems tab after acquiring 3,000 Requisition Slips.
- Purchase the EAT-17.
How to Use the EAT-17 in Helldivers 2
Once you purchase the EAT-17 in Helldivers 2, here is what you need to do to use it:
- Select the EAT-17 as one of your Stratagems from the Loadout screen.
- During a mission, type the unique Stratagem code for the EAT-17 and throw the strat-ball at a location of your choice.
- The EAT-17 will drop in a weapon pod.
- Get to the pod and equip the EAT-17 as a support weapon.
The Stratagem code for the EAT-17 is Down>Down>Left>Up> Right, and each weapon drop will contain two EAT-17s.
Since the EAT-17 is a single-use weapon, it will be discarded after use. Unfortunately, you can’t get more ammo for the weapon, meaning you will need to request another weapon drop every time you need the EAT-17.
While using the EAT-17, the person standing behind you will get knocked down.
As mentioned earlier, the weapon is great against armored enemy types, such as Chargers. You can easily take out a Charger with a well-placed shot to the head.
