How to Get the Zap Gun in Lethal Company
The Zap gun is one of the more pricier weapons in the game. It shoots a constant stream of electricity, capable of immobilizing all hostile creatures in sight. The Zap Gun costs 400 Credits. Players will have to complete a few expeditions and get more scrap to sell in exchange for credits.
To purchase this weapon, players can follow the steps below.
- Interact with the Terminal inside the ship by pressing E.
- Type store
- Type zap gun
- Type confirm to finalize the purchase.
If players have enough credits, their order will be confirmed. The Zap gun will be available at the store drop pod, ready to be picked up.
How to Use the Zap Gun in Lethal Company
To use the Zap Gun, players need to equip the weapon and press the left mouse button. Doing so will automatically begin scanning the area for any enemies or allies. If the Zap gun detects a monster, it will shoot out a constant beam of electricity at the target.
The Zap Gun has a unique effect that stuns the enemy, effectively immobilizing them. The duration of the stun varies from 30 to 60 seconds, depending on how straight players can maintain the beam of electricity. The beam can be controlled with mouse movement.
However, if the beam disconnects, smoke will start coming out of the Zap Gun as it goes into a five-second cooldown.
Once stunned, enemies will not be able to attack the player. Players can use this opportunity to beat the monster to death using a shovel.
The Zap Gun is only effective against the following monsters:
- Jester
- Turrets
- Forest Keeper
- Eyeless Dogs
Players should use the Zap Gun carefully in multiplayer mode, as it can also slow down allies and prevent them from using items.
