How to Install Seamless Co-op Mod in Elden Ring Nightreign

Installing the Seamless Co-op mod by Yui is quite easy in Elden Ring Nightreign. The mod essentially alters the matchmaking process, forcing it to stop when two players have successfully joined the expedition. However, the other player must have the mod installed for the Seamless Co-op to work. So, without further ado, let's get to the installation instructions for the mod.

Make sure to make an additional backup of your save file just to be cautious.

  1. Download the Seamless Co-op mod for Nightreign from NexusMods.
  2. Once the files are downloaded, extract them to the game directory where the main EXE file is located. The directory by default should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN\Game."
  3. After pasting the mod files into the directory, first create a shortcut of the "nrsc_launcher" and send it to your desktop for ease of access. Secondly, head into the SeamlessCoop folder and open the "nrsc_settings" file in the text editor to make sure the number of players is set to two.
  4. To use your save files with this mod, you'll need to head to the Elden Ring save file location. The folder can be found in "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Nightreign\STEAM ID." Here, make a copy of your main save file named "NR0000.sl2" and rename the copy to "NR0000.co2."
