Orens for Harpies

Here are some of the best ways of farming Orens in The Witcher 2:

  1. Playing Minigames

Players good at minigames like fighting, dice poker, and arm wrestling can make a decent scratch.

During the game's first chapter, indulge in arm wrestling matches and pub brawls. Locate NPC characters like Adam Pangratt and Bart Bargee to win additional Orens by challenging them to arm wrestling matches. Additionally, make it a point to wrestle the dwarf in a Vergen tavern to get bonus Orens by betting on the match.

While dice poker can earn more Orens, it can get boring fast. But then again, players can make a ton of change by winning dice poker games and getting combinations like One Pair, Full House, Six-high Straight, and Five-of-a-kind. Moreover, look for quests associated with dice poker games, like “Poker Face: Flotsam” to win more Orens with each win.

  3. Meditate until midnight.
  4. Fight the Harpies that spawn.
  5. Meditate again for the Harpies to respawn, and rinse and repeat.

Use the Aard sign to inflict heavy damage to the Harpies.
