Once you reach Vyssa Hills in Hell Is Us, you'll eventually be tasked with finding the Watcher's Nest. Inside, you'll learn that Pentos Algea's tomb has been uncovered beneath the main floor that you'll explore. Of course, to open it requires you to solve a puzzle, like most things in Hell Is Us. This requires a fair amount of reading, research, and analysis of the various information and resources found in the main area. If you're struggling to figure out where you need to put the ceramic flowers in the various slots in the walls, I'll talk you through how to solve the puzzle and open Pentos Algea's tomb.

The Best War Games speaks with Hell is Us creative director/art director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête about its dark, gritty world focused on emotions.
Pentos Algea's Tomb Puzzle Solution in Hell Is Us
As soon as you enter the Watcher's Nest, you'll notice several symbols on the wall with slots below them. Head further in and you'll find another set, and then another. These all refer to specific moments in Pentos Algea's life, and you'll need to slot the ceramic flowers you find down by his tomb into the correct slots.
The ceramic flowers are placed on the top of Algea's tomb, marked by a yellow glint.
One of the files in the main room will explain that "through his name, his title, the symbol of his order, and the date of inception of his order" you can unlock his tomb.
Pentos Algea's Order Symbol
First, return to the first set of slots that you encountered when you entered the Watcher's Nest (the circular area). Here, you want to place a ceramic flower in the slot underneath the symbol that looks like an 'oozing eye.' Another way to see it is a squiggly line with other lines running vertically down from it. This is the symbol of Algea's order, the Order of Grief. The clue to this is found in the tomb room.
Pentos Algea's Title Symbol
Next, head back towards the main room, but look for a series of three metal shields with icons on, on the wall to your left. Place another ceramic flower in the one on the right which looks like a book with a candle in the middle of it. This is referring to Algea's title as the Founder of the Vigil. The clue for this is on the whiteboard just up the stairs from these metal shields.
The Date of the Inception of Pentos Algea's Order
The next slots you'll come across are either side of the banner on the wall to your right as you head up the stairs towards where the whiteboard is. As shown on the whiteboard, these refer to the dates 1512 (on the left) and 1513 (on the right). Place a ceramic flower in the slot on the right of the banner, as the inception of the order took place in 1513.
Pentos Algea's Name Ceramic Flower Slot Location
Finally, walk behind the whiteboard to find a hidden alcove. Here, you'll find two slots; the one on the left (as you're entering the alcove) has a sign next to it with the name Algea.
Place the fourth and final ceramic flower in the slot, and a rumble will be heard coming from downstairs, indicating that you've opened Pentos Algea's tomb in Hell Is Us.
