At the time of launch, Pokemon Sleep had no support for smartwatches. Players were only able to utilize Pokemon Go+ to track their sleep. Those who had the device could greatly benefit from it, as it gave them an additional Pokemon on the team.

Back then, if players did not have the Pokemon Go+, they had to use their phone to record sleep. However, with a new update, it is possible to link your smartwatch with Pokemon Sleep. The process can be tricky, so for a smooth transistor, players can consult this guide.

  • Go to Pair a Device option and click on it.
  • On the next screen, players will be asked to link to Health Connect. This will only happen if they have installed the application. If it is downloaded, choose Pair a Device.
  • Next, give Pokemon Sleep access to Health Connect. Simply click on Allow All.
  • This will bring up another prompt asking players to pick which source they want to use. If they have a Fitbit, Pixel smartwatch, etc., choose Fitbit. If they have a Galaxy Watch, opt for Samsung Health.
  • After selecting the source, players should a see confirmation message appear on the screen.

Using smartwatches is highly convenient, and it will help Pokemon Sleep players preserve their phone batteries. Also, wearing a smartwatch might also aid players in getting different Sleep Styles. Many gamers have complained about getting only a single type of Sleep Style, so using a smartwatch could change all of that.

Using smartwatches to synchronize sleep will also help players get extra rewards such as diamonds.
