Assassin's Creed: Shadows is currently running a limited-time event in collaboration with Attack on Titan to present players with new cosmetic items, weapons, and a questline. The AC Shadows x AOT collab features two new quests: Beyond the Walls and the Descent.
Completing these quests will earn players a new katana that has a unique cosmetic effect on the characters. However, this questline will be playable until December 22, 2025, so make sure to complete these and get the katana before it's gone forever.

There's a quest that allows players to partake in a secret tournament and fight against five skilled foes to earn rewards in Assassin's Creed Shadows.
How to Start Assassin's Creed Shadows X Attack on Titan Quests (Beyond the Walls)
The Assassin's Creed Shadows X Attack on Titan quest, Beyond the Walls, becomes available as soon as players unlock Yasuke as a character. If you've already done this, look for the Beyond the Walls side quest marker in the Yamashiro region, northeast of Kyoto, and east of Genbu Highlands.
The Assassin's Creed Shadows X Attack on Titan quests can be started as either Naoe or Yasuke. However, some sections of the quest later on will require Naoe, and others will demand Yasuke's combat abilities.
You can quickly arrive at the quest starting location by simply fast traveling to the Hanazono Castle. Once you load in, drop down and head to the quest marker to come across scattered dead bodies of fallen Survey Corp soldiers from AOT.
Interact with the one soldier lying next to a boulder to start the Beyond the Walls quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows X Attack on Titan crossover.
Once you've started the quest, head back to Hanazono Castle and move towards the castle remains in the middle. You'll start to hear the enemy forces questioning a captive. Head inside and take out the enemies to free the captive.
Once the threat is dealt with, free the captive from their restraints to reveal a new character named Ada, who's part of the Survey Corps faction from the AOT universe. After a brief conversation, players will need to select the "I'm ready to follow Ada" option to start the main quest of the Assassin's Creed Shadows X Attack on Titan crossover called "The Descent."
It's definitely worth completing the quest as players will receive a legendary katana known as Cavern Shard as a reward. The katana has a unique cosmetic effect that will turn Yasuke's, or Naoe's arm into an icy shard. It has a unique engraving known as the Reactive Shell, which can also be used with other weapons by visiting a blacksmith.
