Brushes with Death is the first of many expansions that Warhorse has added to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The DLC follows the story of Voyta the Painter, and players can expect it to last around 8 to 12 hours, depending on their playstyle. Players who own the DLC can start it quite easily, but there are a few requirements they must complete. This guide offers information on how to complete the Sketchy Situation quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which acts as an introductory quest to the Brushes with Death DLC.

Players in the Kuttenburg region for the second part of the story will have to go back to the Trosky region through a coach wagon.

How To Start Sketchy Situation Quest In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To start the quest, you must first complete the main story quest For Whom The Bell Tolls. With the quest completed, look to the southeast of Trosky Castle to spot a purple marker on the map marking the location of the quest. From the castle, call your horse and make your way to the marker. Upon arriving there, you will find a man tied up to a tree, which begins a cutscene where he can be seen talking to a skull. Henry will offer to help when two wolves appear, and you must deal with them.

Make sure you do not kill them if you are trying to go for the Lent trophy/achievement. You can simply hit them a few times with your fists, and they will leave; kicking them also works.

After the wolves encounter, untie Master Voyta and talk to him to find out more about what happened to him. During the conversation, he will ask you to retrieve a few things that the thieves stole from him: the set of brushes and also three dice, the latter of which is optional. Fast travel to Troskowitz and make your way southeast to the marker. Once you arrive at the camp, you will find Yura and Clovis.

How To Get The Painter's Set of Brushes & Dice In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

There are a few ways to acquire the set of brushes, with the easiest being to beat them up. Once you do that, you can loot their bodies to find the brushes and the dice. However, if you are not planning on the aggressive approach, then you can resolve this peacefully and talk to them about the painter. They will refuse to know anything about him, and you must pass a Skill Check.

For the brushes, y ou will need to win against Yuri in a shooting contest, and to acquire the dice, you will need to beat Clovis in a game of dice, given that you have successfully passed the skill check.

Once you have acquired both of the painter's things, you can head back to Master Voyta, who will be inside the Trosky Castle. He is located inside his room in the left wing of the castle on the top floor. Talk to him and he will reward you with the dice you brought back and help you paint shields.
