Skate 4 has brought back not just the satisfying, physics-driven skating but also the Quick Drop feature from the previous title. This feature lets players drop ramps, rails, and props anywhere in the city. Thanks to Quick Drop, you can fix gaps, create longer lines, or build custom playgrounds with just a few button presses.

The problem is, you’re also sharing the city with countless other players, and that means their Quick Drop items are scattered around too. Sometimes it’s fun to stumble across another skater’s DIY setup, but other times it can clutter your session, ruin your lines, or just become plain annoying. Luckily, Skate 4 gives you the option to disable other people’s ramps altogether while still enjoying your own custom setups.

How to Turn Off Other People's Ramps in Skate 4

To turn off other people’s ramps and get a clean session, you need to head to the Quick Drop settings in Skate 4. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:

  • Start by pressing Right on the D-Pad to bring up the Quick Drop wheel.
  • Once you’re in that menu, press the Options/Start button to open the Quick Drop settings.
  • Scroll all the way down until you reach the Multiplayer section.
  • Under Multiplayer, you’ll see an option labeled Quick Drop Visibility. Change this setting to Mine Only if you want to completely remove other people’s ramps, rails, and props from your world. If you’d still like to see creations from trusted friends while filtering out strangers, choose Friends and Party instead.
  • Once your preferences are set, simply exit the menu and resume skating. The changes will take effect immediately, giving you control over what you see in the world.

If you decide later that you want to see other players’ ramps again, just revisit the Quick Drop settings and set Visibility back to “Everyone.”

If you’re worried that other players can edit or remove your Quick Drop builds in Skate 4, you can prevent that too. Here’s how:

  • Open the Quick Drop menu.
  • Press Options/Start to access Quick Drop settings.
  • Scroll down to the Multiplayer section and find Quick Drop Editing.
  • Switching this to No One will ensure that nobody else can move, modify, or delete the ramps and objects you place. If you want friends to be able to collaborate with you, you can set it to Friends and Party instead.
