Ready or Not is a deeply immersive FPS video game where players need to plan strategically if they want to win. The game is set in the fictional city of Los Suenos in California and depicts the current-day political and economic instability in the United States. As the leader of an esteemed SWAT tactical unit, players are tasked with defusing intense, hostile situations in this morally bankrupt city.
Ready or Not’s 1.0 Update has added lots of new features to the game, such as revamping the previously dormant tablet device. The tablet’s UI is designed to help players keep track of important mission data, such as maps and objectives. This guide comprises everything players need to know about using the tablet in Ready or Not.
Ready or Not: How to Give Officers a Break
Even LSPD SWAT members need a break in Ready or Not. Here's how to keep the squad's mental health in check.
How to Use Tablet in Ready or Not
The tablet enhances the game’s tactical depth and provides valuable tools for planning and coordination. To equip the tablet, players simply need to press the TAB key on the keyboard. Holding down on the TAB key allows players to zoom in on the screen and focus on the critical information.
The tablet is a multipurpose tool that helps players readily access mission-critical data, review photographs, and check 911 calls. It also provides exclusive intel on suspects and civilians. Listed below are all the things players can do using their tablet in Ready or Not.
Check The Roster
One of the most important functions of the tablet is to assign tasks to individual team members by clicking on the Roster tab. Players can also check whether an officer is in crisis and can send them to therapy.
Check Mission Objectives
Players can use the tablet to keep track of their team’s progress and objectives. They can find a list of all incomplete mission objectives in the Objectives tab. Completed objectives are marked in green.
Check Teammate Load-Outs And Cameras
Players can use the tablet to have a quick view of their teammate’s equipment and camera feeds. This information can be accessed through the Gear or Camera tabs. Camera feeds can be switched by clicking on a team member’s picture.
Communicate With Other Players
The tablet enables players to communicate with other players in-game, making it easier for them to coordinate during multiplayer matches. To communicate with players, simply click on the Chat tab.
Examine And Draw On Maps
Players can view detailed maps on their tablets and plan their next moves accordingly. They can even draw on the map to mark important information. To do so, simply select the Map tab and click on the star icon located in the lower right corner.
Players should remember that they are completely exposed while using the tablet, which makes them more vulnerable to enemy attacks.
