Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist just got its full release, and staying true to its Metroidvania design, backtracking is a key part of the game. Set in the Ender universe, the game features a massive world with big sections, and having to traverse it all without a fast travel system in place can get pretty tedious.

Thankfully, unlike games like Blasphemous, where you have to wait a while to unlock fast travel, this game gives you access to this mechanic relatively early on as part of the main story. In this guide, we'll give you a rundown of exactly what you'll need to do to unlock fast travel in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist.

Unlocking Fast Travel in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

To unlock fast travel in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mis t, you'll have to complete a quest for Gordon in the Old City Market. The Old City Market serves as the primary hub in this game. Gordon is the Arcane Smith, who you'll find just across the wooden platform after entering the region.

Speak to Gordon about the Homunculus with Wings, and he'll tell you about Yolvan, who has been attacking the townsfolk. After the conversation ends, the quest, The Search for the Winged Homunculus, will begin. Fast travel is unlocked after completing this quest.

Unlock the Private Quarters Respite by heading right from Gordon and dropping down through the wooden platform.

This questline is relatively straightforward. The majority of it takes place in the next section of the map, Old City - Lower Stratum. Explore the area, and you'll eventually arrive at a Respite called Clock Tower Plaza - Entrance. From this Respite, head through the left exit to trigger a boss fight against Yolvan, The Black-Winged Huntsman.

After defeating the boss and obtaining Yolvan as an ally, return to Gordon in the Old City Market. A short cutscene will play out, during which Gordon hands over the Lower Stratum Key. He will also ask you to take Hati with you on your journey. Once the cutscene ends, the ability to fast travel will be unlocked.
