Lost Soul Aside offers a lot of weapons for players to pick and choose from, along with multiple weapon types to really switch things up. While some weapons can be better than others in terms of base stats, there is a way to upgrade specific weapons to make the best ones even stronger or keep your favorite ones relevant for longer.

Weapons can be customized using weapon accessories, which can range greatly in what exactly they do to make your weapon stronger. Here's how to upgrade your weapons using weapon accessories, along with what Morphing your weapons does and how to change their appearance.

How to Upgrade Weapons in Lost Soul Aside

The Player With Accessories Equipped on their Weapon

Upgrading weapons is done by equipping weapon accessories onto your weapon, boosting its stats based on the accessories you choose to equip. This can be done at any time in the equipment tab of the main menu. Select the weapon you wish to upgrade and press the "Weapon Assembly" button, which is Triangle on PlayStation.

  • Every weapon has six weapon accessory slots.
  • Accessories can only be equipped on one weapon at a time.

In the Weapon Assembly menu, click on one of the open accessory slots to open up a list of all of your current weapon accessories. Selecting an accessory will move it over to your weapon, where you can choose where exactly it goes on the weapon, letting you move, flip, rotate, and scale the accessory to fit it onto your weapon. Once an accessory is equipped on a weapon, the bonuses from that accessory will be reflected in the weapon's new stats.

These accessories can be seen in-game on your weapon, changing its appearance.

How to Change Weapon Appearance in Lost Soul Aside (Morph)

The Player Morphing a Sword

When talking to Liana, one of the bottom options on her menu is to Morph a weapon. Morphing is purely cosmetic and lets you place the skin of one weapon onto another. This lets you get the stats of one weapon, while having the appearance of another if you prefer how a specific weapon looks. Morphing is not permanent, though it will stay in effect until you go back to the Morph menu and undo whatever changes you made. You can only Morph into a weapon that you have, and once you get a new weapon, it will immediately be added to the Morph menu.
