The Deathmask of Nirmitruq is a truly unique helmet for Rogues in Diablo 4. It opens up a risky but rewarding playstyle that can be very powerful if players manage to play properly, and it's incredibly fun to use if you prefer playing Rogue as a melee class.

Getting a Deathmask of Nirmitruq is fairly simple, and depending on what Rogue build you're using in Diablo 4, you should be able to get one in a flash. Here are all the options you have to get this Unique helmet.

Where to Get the Deathmask of Nirmitruq in Diablo 4

Players can get the Deathmask of Nirmitruq by opening the treasure hoards of the Beast in the Ice and Urivar. The former can be found in the Glacial Fissure due south of Kyovashad, while the latter is in the Fields of Judgment west of Kichuk in northeastern Kurast.

Both are relatively easy to beat for Rogues, especially if you're using a build with high burst damage like Frost Rapid Fire Rogue using Scoundrel's Kiss and Skyhunter. Farm these bosses on Torment 1 until you can comfortably beat them on higher difficulties.

As you're farming Urivar and the Beast in the Ice, you might get invaded by Belial. Beating him there will yield another set of boss drops. Also, he'll drop some Betrayer's Husks, which can be used to open his hoard in the Palace of the Deceiver lair.

You can fight Belial for a chance of getting drops from a boss of your choice. Belial does not have his own loot table — instead, he'll drop loot from whatever boss you choose before starting his fight.

What Does Deathmask of Nirmitruq Do?

Diablo 4 Deathmask of Nirmitruq description

This Unique helmet lets players continue using Flurry even without Energy. In exchange, the mask will drain its wearer's health, but at the same time, Flurry will hit faster and harder.

The Deathmask of Nirmitruq in Diablo 4 can easily get players killed if they aren't careful, but Rogues have a number of tools to keep themselves alive outside of keeping themselves high on Life. Barrier effects are the first to come to mind.

Rogues can easily get one-shot on Torment 1 and above even if they have full health, so players are often forced to find survivability elsewhere. Situations like these make Life an expendable resource, which means a clever Rogue build in Diablo 4 can easily take advantage of Deathmask of Nirmitruq without having to worry about its Life cost.
