This means that Hunter X Hunter is, more often than not, on hiatus.
These last few years, though, Togashi has been putting in the work, despite his health issues, to advance his story. In 2024, for instance, he returned with 10 chapters, with each chapter being an absolute joy for the fans to read.

With that in mind, Togashi has revealed that he has finished at least some parts of 10 new chapters, from chapter 411 to 420. This is major news for Hunter x Hunter fans, and it means he could be done with a new batch soon. Fans could be seeing their favorite series make a comeback.

With Togashi edging closer to finishing the latest batch of 10 HxH chapters, fans are, naturally, wondering when they will be released. At the moment, he isn’t done with them, so of course, no release date has been issued by Weekly Shonen Jump.
However, in theory, these chapters could come out in late 2025. After all, chapter 401 of HxH, which kick-started the last batch, came out on October 7, 2024. It’s been over a year since, and a November or December release date doesn’t seem impossible at the moment. The only thing fans can do is be patient and wish Togashi better health.
