Where to Find Iron Ore in Hytale

Iron Ore Location

Iron Ore deposits start appearing with great frequency at a depth of 40-60 blocks in Hytale. Iron Ore deposits appear as white and gray coloration that contains streaks of rust-tinted streaks. Iron Ore can be mined using a Crude Pickaxe, but a Copper Pickaxe is recommended for faster mining and reduced durability loss.

Bring a Repair Kit or an extra Pickaxe with you when setting out on a lengthy expedition.

While it is certainly possible to find Iron closer to the surface, such deposits are rare and far apart. To collect Iron Ore in large quantities, venturing deep underground is the way to go.

Players can either dig straight down in search of a deposit or venture into a natural cave. Entering a natural cave is typically the fastest way to obtain Iron (and other Ores) in Hytale since exploring these caves is usually faster than manual digging.

Once it has been crafted, place the Furnace in your hotbar, equip it through the hotkey, and use right-click to place it down in the overworld.
