Golden Chest #1

Starting from the Region Exit leading back to Yltheum, this Golden Chest is located directly above the southern gate. To reach it, Jak must travel up the stairs to the left, jump on top of the wooden structure against the wall, and Hover around the stone pillar into the hidden area.

Golden Chest #2

Exiting through the southern gate and heading east into the dead end, Jak must use Animate to lower the tree overhead. Jumping onto the now lowered tree, the Golden Chest can be found behind the shrub next to the cave entrance.

Breakshot Arclight

Golden Chest #3

Heading northeast into the cave, Jak can use a Wardbreaker to break through the blue force field. After players defeat the enemy waiting inside the next room, they must grapple to the Lash Anchor in the center to reach the floating platform, on which is a Golden Chest.

Exalted Lens

Backtracking to the gate and proceeding west through the cave, Jak will be faced with a tall white temple-like building. To get inside and find the Golden Chest, he must strike the three colored crystals just outside the building with the correct Sigil magic; Green Sigil Magic works on green crystals, Red Sigil Magic works on red crystals, and Blue Sigil Magic works on blue crystals.

Backtracking to the gate and heading south through the next one, players can turn to the right and use the Lash Anchor to reach the top of the wooden structure. Following the path to the right and using Wardbreaker on the blue force field, Jak must proceed through the small cave until he can emerge outside. Players must approach the blue device to the left, interact with it, and then use Sigil Magic on the nearby crystals; the green one is located at the base of the device, and the red one can be found on the rotating monument. Using Animate on the device, the blue beam of light can be guided to connect with the blue crystal on the rotating monument to lower an elevator. This elevator can then be used to reach the Golden Chest.

Exalted Seekershards

Shroudfane #1

This Shroudfane can be found on the device that was used to reach Golden Chest #5. To reach it, players should travel south through the two gates leading away from the Yltheum's Region Exit and use the Lash Anchor on the right. Following the path to the right and using Wardbreaker on the blue force field, players can head straight through the cave to find the first Shroudfane.

Golden Chest #6

Jumping down from where Jak found Golden Chest #5 and heading east and then south along the linear path, players will need to use the Restore ability on the purple Corruption on the wall. After defeating the Leylodons that emerge from the corruption, Jak can head through the newly opened archway. Using the Lash Anchors to cross to the other side, he will arrive at the Lordsfell Cliffs Portal and can use the Lash Anchor in the western corner to reach the Golden Chest.

Piercer Javelin

Golden Chest #7

Traveling all the way back to the first Lash Anchor Jak used to access this area, players should travel slightly south and turn to the right to face the large wooden structure. Jumping across the flowing river and onto the wooden platform, Red Sigil Magic can be used on the red crystal overhead to lower an elevator. Getting on the elevator and arriving higher up, players must proceed south, turn right, and enter the mining area. Red Sigil Magic can be used on the crystal inside, and players must quickly backtrack to the elevator and get on the one just north of it. The Golden Chest can be found at the top.

Golden Chest #8

Heading south into the corner from where Golden Chest #7 was found, Jak must use Restore on the Corruption and defeat a Leylodon to open the way forward. Using the rope to reach the next area, players must head down the stairs to the right and then south toward some more Corruption. Once the Corruption has been cleared, the Leyline to the south can be used to reach a new area. The Golden Chest can then be found behind the house.

Shroudfane #2

Backtracking to the path just east of the large wooden structure, players should proceed along the path leading south. Upon reaching the area with the two cranes, the Shroudfane can be seen on the left.

Radiant Health Stone

Golden Chest #9

Traveling back to the road leading south, players should press on until they spot two cranes on top of a wooden structure. Turning west, they should approach the Corruption and use the Restore ability on it. Once the Leylodons have been dealt with, players should proceed to the wooden platform to the north and follow these steps:

• Cast Green Sigil Magic at the green crystal to the west.
• Jump to the wooden platform.
• Cast Blue Sigil Magic on the blue crystal to the south.
• Wait for the elevator to rise and then jump to the western ledge.

The Golden Chest can be seen at the end of this walkway.

Golden Chest #10

Using Green Sigil Magic on the green crystal once more and jumping to the wooden platform, players should wait until it returns to its original position. Blue Sigil Magic can then be used on the crystal to the west and again on the crystal to the north to lower another wooden platform. Players must jump to this platform and, while it's rising, jump to the shaft opening to the west. The Golden Chest can be found just inside the entrance.

Hitting the green crystal just east of the shaft entrance with Green Sigil Magic will cause the wooden platform Jak was on to rotate, allowing him to jump back on. Players can then use Blue Sigil Magic to hit the blue crystal at the top of the metal structure the platform is connected to, thus making the platform Jak is currently standing on rise. The green crystal on the right-hand side of the metal structure can be hit to rotate the platform once more, and Jak can jump east from it to reach a new area. Here, players will be faced with a puzzle. The solution is as follows:

• Hit the south-facing blue crystal.
• Hit the north-facing blue crystal.
• Cast Refract at the central orb.
• Hit the southeast-facing green crystal.
• Use Animate to direct the blue beam of light into the circular blue glass.
• Hit the north-facing red crystal.
• Hit the northwest-facing red crystal.
• Use Animate to rotate the circular red window to the right.
• Use the Lash Anchor to get on top of the northern pillar.
• Use Refract on the spiked red crystal closest to the pillar.
• Use the Lash Anchor to get to the top of the southern pillar.
• Use Refract on the central green orb.

If done correctly, the door to the north will open, allowing players access to a Golden Chest.

Lorrent

Golden Chest #12

Heading back to the main road, players should continue south until they reach Greyveil. Proceeding off the path to the left, Jak must use Restoration to clear the area of Corruption and then defeat some Leylodons. The Golden Chest can then be found by hopping on the nearby tent and jumping to the large rock to the north.

Focus Ring

Following the path leading north, Jak will be faced with a large boulder that he can use Animate on. Rotating the rock left and right will reveal two crystals that, when hit with the correct Sigil Magic, will move the boulder out of the way, revealing a Golden Chest.

This Shroudfane can be found next to the Leylines, just past where players found Golden Chest #13.

Radiant Mana Stone

Golden Chest #14

Proceeding east and jumping across the gap to the north, players will be faced with more Corruption they need to Restore. Defeating the Leylodons that spawn upon doing so, Jak can proceed inside the southeastern building to find a Golden Chest.

Golden Chest #15 & Shroudfane #4

Getting to this Golden Chest requires players to solve the block puzzle in Greyveil Plaza. The solution is as follows:

• Pull the lever on the green block.
• Travel to the opposite side of the spire and hit the blue crystal near the top of the with Blue Sigil Magic.
• Hit the above green crystal with Green Sigil Magic.
• Use Disrupt on the green orb that emerges from the green block.
• Pull the lever on the red block.
• Hit the red crystal above with Red Sigil Magic.
• Use Disrupt on the spiked red crystal that emerges from the red block.
• Pull the lever on the blue block.
• Hit the red, green, and blue crystals with Red, Green, and Blue Sigil Magic.
• Use Disrupt on the blue orb that emerges from the blue block.

Upon doing this, a Golden Chest and a Shroudfane will emerge from the ground.

This Golden Chest can be found inside the large building north of the golden spire. It is located at the back of the northernmost room.

Heading south from the block puzzle and crossing the bridge, players should proceed west toward the area covered with Corruption. Using Restore, a group of Leylodons will attack; once they have been defeated, the Corruption will fade, and a Golden Chest will appear.

Scarlet Burstfire

Proceeding south from the bridge, players should proceed forward until they see another bridge leading to a small town. Ignoring it for now, they should head east and follow the path until they reach a workshop. To the left-hand side, a Golden Chest can be found.

Corrosive Ring

Heading north, players will find a wooden pillar with a red crystal on the side. This crystal can then be struck with Red Sigil Magic, and Jak can use the Lash Anchor to reach the area above. Interacting with the device by the edge, he must use Animate to guide the blue beam of light to the right until it connects with a blue orbs. Using Refract on the orb, a circular blue window will emerge from the house to the west. Animate should be used again to connect the blue beam of light to the window. Looking south, players will see another blue window; using Animate on it to bring the light down will lower the elevator to the east. To make it rise, Jak must stand on it and use Animate on the window once more. At the top, a Golden Chest can be found.

Golden Chest #20 & Shroudfane #5

Back at the bridge, players can look to the east to see a Lash Anchor above a house; standing south and hitting it with Red Sigil Magic will cause it to move to a place where it can be used to reach a new area. Once there, Jak will need to deal with some more Corruption by using Restore. Defeating the Leylodons that spawn will reveal a Shroudfane and a Golden Chest.

Golden Chest #21

Crossing the bridge leading south and following the path ahead, players will come across another bridge. Looking east, they will spot a collection of green devices in sticking out of the water; these contraptions must be used to reach the area above. The steps to solving this puzzle are as follows:

• Use Animation on the device emitting a green beam of light.
• Guide the light to the device on the tall glowing pillar.
• Keep the beam connected to the device until the glowing pillar descends.
• Shoot Limpets at the pillar.
• Animate the device once more.
• Guide the beam to the device on the left.

Doing this will create a stairway that, when climbed, will allow Jak to reach a Golden Chest.

Marksman Ring

Golden Chest #22 & Shroudfane #6

Proceeding along the path behind the house, Jak will be faced with another puzzle. To solve it, he must hit all the nearby colored crystals with the appropriate Sigil Magic, use Animate to lower the tree, and use Refract on the circular red mirror. Doing this will cause the door in front of Jak to open, allowing him to go inside and find a Golden Chest and a Shroudfane.

Returning to the bridge by the waterfall, players should continue forward until they reach the Portal. Behind it, a narrow walkway can be seen and must be used to reach the ruined building to the west. The Lash Anchor on the northern side of the building can be used to reach the roof, where a Golden Chest can be found.

Shroudfane #7

This Shroudfane can be found inside the temple, just south of Golden Chest #23. Jak will visit this location during the main story and can open the door by casting Restore on the nearby Corruption.

Grapple

Golden Chest #24

Heading back to Greyveil Plaza and crossing the bridge leading directly southeast, players should follow the path ahead until they come across a green device that can be Animated to lower a suspended walkway. Hitting the blue crystal on the crane with Blue Sigil Magic will cause the walkway to move toward Jak, and he must jump to it before it moves too far away. Standing on the walkway, he can turn to face the green device and Animate it again to move the green beam away from the device it's currently connected to. Once this has been done, the walkway will rise; then, Jak must use the Wardbreaker ability to break through the blue force field and reach the Golden Chest.

This Shroudfane can be found by exiting the room where Golden Chest #24 was found and turning right.

Golden Chest #25 & Shroudfane #9

Traveling back to the northern area, players should proceed through the northeastern doorway until they have passed the small house on the right. Crossing the bridge next to it, Jak can use Restore on some Corruption to reveal a Golden Chest and a Shroudfane.

Lucent Burstfire Radiant Health Stone

Golden Chest #26

Heading back across the bridge and proceeding north up the two sets of stairs, players should turn left at the small garden and proceed toward the white pillar on the raised rocks. Behind it, players must hit a red crystal with Red Sigil Magic. Turning south and dropping into the lower area, players will find the next two crystals on the two white pillars. Once each crystal has been hit, the door to the ruined building will open, revealing a Golden Chest.

Harrows Seekershands

Traveling back through the garden and proceeding north, players should head to the western side of the village. There are several crystals in this area that, when hit in the right order, will grant access to the area above. The steps on how to do this are as follows:

• Hit the green crystal above the door with Green Sigil Magic.
• Turn around and hit the blue crystal on the wall to lower the elevator.
• Take the elevator up.
• Follow the path to the right, and hit the next blue crystal with Blue Sigil Magic.
• Jump to the new platform.
• At the top of the stairs, jump up to get an angle at the next blue crystal.
• Jump and hover to the lowered elevator.
• Use Wardbreaker to smash through the blue force field.
• Use Restore on the Corruption up ahead.

Once the Leylodons have been cleared out, a Golden Chest will be revealed.

Nova

Golden Chest #28

Heading back to the elevator, Jak will be faced with one of the three green crystals he needs to hit in order to reach the next Golden Chest. After hitting it, players can drop down to the village and hit the next two; one is above the gate and the other can be found in the nearby well. Once all three green crystals have been hit, the gate to the Golden Chest will open.

Crossing the bridge leading back to where Golden Chest #25 and Shroudfane #9 were found, players should head through the eastern door leading to Thayven's Point and proceed north. Using Restore on the Corruption here will reveal the Den of Lucretius Shroudfane.

Backtracking to the entrance and approaching the bridge to Thayven's Point itself, Wardbreaker can be used to shatter the blue force field. A Golden Chest can be found just inside.

Going under the bridge, Jak must hit the blue crystal. Heading north, a green crystal can be found on a pillar and must also be hit. Swinging across to the building to the east, Jak must hit the red crystal on the pillar to the left. This will cause the door of the building to open, revealing a Golden Chest.
