Immortals of Aveum offers players a truly immersive first-person experience. The story is centered around Jak, a young man who discovers that he can wield a powerful form of magic. While the narrative progresses, he must use his unexpected magical gifts to both defeat his enemies and sometimes to solve challenging puzzles.

Though the solutions to most of the puzzles in Immortals of Aveum are pretty easy to find, there are several that will likely leave players scratching their heads. During Jak's visit to the Temple of Aristeya, he will be faced with two separate puzzles that, when solved, open two separate doors. Getting past the first door leading deeper inside is straightforward enough, but some players may struggle with opening the door in the next room.

The Temple Of Aristeya Door Puzzle #1 Solution

The Temple of Aristeya in Immortals of Aveum

Jak will travel to the Temple of Aristeya during Chapter 3, shortly after getting unwillingly flown to Yltheum. To reach the entrance itself, he must jump into the hole made by the Hand of Sandrakk during the cutscene that takes place just before the 'Follow the Hand of Sandrakk' objective begins. At the bottom, proceeding northeast will lead to a wide-open area, in which the first door puzzle can be found.

The door is located on the north side of the room and can be opened by hitting four separate magic crystals with the corresponding colored attacks; the blue sigil can be used to activate the blue crystals, and the red sigil can be used to activate the red crystals.

  • Approaching the door and looking up, a red crystal can be seen. To get a better angle at this crystal, players should backtrack to the top of the stairs.
  • Turning to the west, a blue crystal can be seen at the top of a partially ruined white structure.
  • Turning east, a second blue crystal can be seen at the top of another white structure.
  • To reach the final red crystal, players must head south and jump across the gap to the stairs to the east. The red crystal can then be seen just above the blocked archway further up.

Once all crystals have been hit using the appropriately colored sigil, the door leading deeper into the Temple of Aristeya will open.

The Temple Of Aristeya Door Puzzle #2 Solution

Acquiring Limpets in Immortals of Aveum

After defeating all the enemies in the next area, Jak will be faced with a glowing green door. To open it, players must first travel up the stairs, just right of the door, and head onto the circular platform hanging above the lower level. Here, players can interact with a glowing green orb to unlock Limpets.

Returning to the glowing green door, players must shoot the blue crystal directly above it with the blue sigil. This will cause the green door to rise, but the speed at which it closes makes it impossible for Jak to get through. To keep it open for longer, Jak must shoot the blue crystal above and then immediately fire Limpets at the door. If done correctly, the speed at which the glowing green door rises and falls will be severely reduced, allowing players to safely travel underneath and into the next area.

Immortals of Aveum is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
