Bond Stars are a currency in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road that can be used to recruit players from constellations in Chronicle Mode. However, the fastest way to earn Bond Stars is not playing through the Chronicle Competition Route, and that may cause a bit of confusion. Fortunately, it is not particularly difficult to get Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and this guide explains exactly how that is done.
While players can earn some Bond Stars in Chronicle Mode, they are awarded much more frequently when playing Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road online.
How to Get Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
Compete Online
To get Bond Stars, players can engage with Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's Competition Mode, which is accessed from the main menu. More specifically, players can compete online, playing matches against others, and both ranked mode and lobby matches are perfectly suitable. Indeed, players will be awarded five Bond Stars at the end of those matches, regardless of if they win or lose.
There is a single player mode within Competition Mode called Free Match, though it does not award Bond Stars.
Chronicle Competition Route
Players will occasionally receive a Bond Star or two for winning a Rare Drop Battle in Chronicle Mode. For full clarity, Rare Drop Battles become available after winning the Route Unlock Battle at each node, and the first one centers around competing against a Level 21 team.
How to Use Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
Player Universe
After earning five Bond Stars, players can head over to Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's Chronicle Mode, which is once again accessed via the main menu, and select Player Universe. Players can then pick a constellation and unlock a node to obtain spirits of some of the characters that are within it. Notably, many of the characters in a constellation are shown when selecting it, and players can see a complete list of them by pressing the Available Characters input that appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Additionally, pressing the Available Characters input will show players the chances they have of earning a particular character's spirit. Indeed, high-tier characters in Inazuma Eleven are much rarer than common ones, and players should not expect to earn one's spirit every time they spend Bond Stars.
To note, if a player is interested in earning a specific character's spirit, they can use the constellation search feature to find the constellations that they appear in. To do this, players should press the Start Constellation Search input that is shown at the bottom of the screen and the search by team dock or by character name. Not only is this a great way to find a favorite character, it is also very useful when attempting to earn duplicate spirits, which can be used to level up characters already in a dock.
Once some spirits have been unlocked, players can use them by navigating to the Team Dock menu, which is accessible through Chronicle Mode, Kizuna Station, and Competition Mode, and selecting Spirits. If the spirit is used to summon a new player, the character will appear in the player bank at the bottom of the Team Dock menu. Players can then visit the player bank to add a character that they have unlocked to a team in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.
