Indiana Jones and the Great Circle seems to have ushered in an exciting new era for everyone's favorite archeologist-turned-treasure hunter, Henry Jones Jr., with fans praising the game's fidelity, gameplay, and attention to detail. Released in 2024, The Great Circle has proven to be a big hit for developer MachineGames and publisher Microsoft, though the game's arrival on PlayStation 5 was certainly an interesting development. Following The Great Circle's long list of updates, the new Update 4 Hotfix 2 fixes a few bugs, targeting issues for PS5 users. Specifically, players were having issues with the DualSense's Adaptive Triggers, both on PS5 and PC. A new menu option was added to allow modification of the DualSense's Adaptive trigger strength. Other fixed bugs include an issue that caused players to drop important items when messing with the D-pad, as well as a fix for the Iraq cave door unintentionally closing, preventing players from revisiting the main chamber.
Another issue in which the "Forgotten Page" activity note failed to appear in Sunan's hut in Sukhothai has been fixed. The Great Circle has many tasks to accomplish, though one bug has caused many headaches for achievement hunters, preventing them from unlocking the "Archivist" achievement. This has been fixed in The Great Circle's newest update, making achievement-hunting and treasure-seeking a little less annoying. The achievement will now simply pop up for those who have already unlocked it.
While its launch year was exciting, 2025 seems to be shaping up for an even bigger one for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Not only has The Great Circle landed on PS5, but the game is also playable on Steam Deck. Those who have already completed The Great Circle's main story shouldn't worry, as there's at least one major DLC expansion on the way, Order of Giants, which will give fans and Indy himself even more locations to explore and secrets to uncover. An official release date is yet to be announced, though information is rumored to drop this summer about Indiana Jones and The Great Circle's future.
