Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is filled to the brim with puzzles and mysteries for which the players must brainstorm solutions to. You'll encounter the first one of these puzzles at the beginning of the game, right after a giant ransacks the Marshall College's Exhibit. The puzzle is quite a simple one, but can get tricky as there aren't any camera hints available at this point in the story.

How to Solve the Exhibit Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

The Artifact Exhibit at the Marshall College features the first puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Players encounter this puzzle right after the prologue, when Indy wakes up at his desk and proceeds to investigate the college for any signs of an intruder. After a confrontation with a giant, who leaves the exhibit a mess, Indy must put all the artifacts in their exhibit showcase to identify which one is missing.

Here's the solution to the Exhibit Puzzle.

  • Pick up the Bastet Statue from the ground right next to the Egypt exhibit. Place it in the showcase with images of Egyptian artifacts and the goddess, Bastet with a cat for a head.
  • The second item is the Funerary Mask right in front of the Bastet showcase that you can pick up. Brody points out that the mask is made of solid gold, which is actually a hint that the mask goes into the showcase with the images of ancient jewelry.
  • The last item is the Ivory Case with Ugaritic markings on its side. The markings are a clear hint that it goes into the Syrian showcase with the red symbols.

Placing all the symbols on the right exhibits will trigger a cutscene where Indy will figure out with Brody that the Cat Mummy is missing. This will send Indy on a quest to locate the artifact and find out the reason why it was stolen in the first place.

So, here is the solution to the Exhibit Puzzle in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. Even though this one was simpler, there are much harder ones to come in your journey ahead.
