Although the game launched late in 2024, it didn't stop Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from earning positive reception from critics and fans alike. In fact, the success of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has seemingly caught the attention of the IP's parent company, Disney, with rumors indicating that it wants more from the franchise, and Microsoft already teasing a potential sequel being in development. Indiana Jones and The Order of Giants DLC Release Date

During Gamescom's Opening Night Live event, Bethesda showed off a new trailer for the upcoming Order of Giants expansion for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. According to the trailer, players will be delving into a new mystery tied to the ancient Roman Empire and a mysterious beast hidden there. Players will be interacting with a new NPC called Father Ricci, a young priest who has Indy attempt to track down a mysterious Roman artifact that soon leads to a new adventure featuring the Cult of Mithras, the former Emperor Nero, and gladiatorial games.
In addition to the new gameplay trailer, Bethesda also confirmed that the popular adventure title is being ported to even more platforms. While Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched on PS5 this past April, Nintendo Switch 2 users will also get their chance to step into the shoes of Fedora of Indy sometime in 2026.
The port follows Microsoft's recent strategy of porting most of its first-party titles to other platforms. The plan has seemingly been a successful one, as games like Forza Horizon 5 have seen massive success on the PlayStation 5. Not only that, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has also seen improved sales on the PS5, with estimates indicating that it has been selling much faster on Sony's platform than either Xbox or Steam. It'll be interesting to see how Switch 2 players take to the adventure when it launches sometime next year.
