Indiana Jones has faced many adversaries and puzzles, but it seems his latest one in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, has him come up against a mixture of his greatest fears: a puzzle that involves a giant serpent. This water-based puzzle will take quite a bit of thinking power, as players must find a way to make the water currents all flow into their locking mechanisms. Below, players can find the appropriate solution to the Serpent Puzzle so that they can continue on their adventure for this Indiana Jones DLC.
Serpent Puzzle Solution for Indiana Jones and the Order of Giants
The Serpent Puzzle requires players to use a Serpent Wrench to redirect the water flow into four drains, but to begin, players must first open up parts of the maze by directing the water through the grates. Below, players can find the solution in each part that will be available in:
How to Open the First Grate in the Serpent Puzzle
- Take the Serpent Wrench and place it into the first north circle closest to the waterfall.
- Rotate this hole so that it's flowing to the right, which will open up the grate and lift it from the floor.
How to Open the Second Gate in the Serpent Puzzle
- With the first grate now opened, head to the first water hole on the east, and use a Serpent Wrench to make the water flow upwards.
- Where the water now flows, make the hole face east so that it will flow down into the next grate, which should now open up.
How to Open the Third Grate in the Serpent Puzzle
- With the second grate now opened, use the first hole on the right from the waterfall to make the water flow south.
- The water hole to the west of the waterfall will now be filled, and players can insert the Serpent Wrench to direct the water further west, which will open up the third grate.
How to Open the Fourth Grate in the Serpent Puzzle
- The final water hole that opened the third grate can now be turned so that the water flow is facing north and east. This will open up the last grate.
How to Solve the Serpent Puzzle
Now that all grates have been opened, it's time to turn all of the water holes the appropriate way. The image above shows exactly how players will want each water hole to face so that the flow opens all 4 locks on the exit door, but here's a brief rundown:
- Direct B3 to C3 and B2
- Direct water from B2 to B1 and A2
- Direct water from A2 to A1 and A3
- Direct water from B1 to C1
