Infinity Nikki fans are finally getting their first look at the game's upcoming Home feature, with the developers sharing more about how the highly anticipated system will work when it's added in Version 1.9. Little has been revealed about the open-world gacha game's housing feature so far, but Infinity Nikki fans have been vocal about their desire for a place to decorate and make their own in the mystical Miraland.

Immediately following its release in December 2024, Infinity Nikki became a hit with fans of cozy titles, with the free-to-play fantasy dress-up game offering an addictive blend of exploration, puzzle-solving, and platforming. Despite seeing a flood of poor reviews following the controversial Version 1.5 update in April, Infinity Nikki's July 2025 update has been praised by players for its darker and more mature tone when compared to more childish patches in previous months. Now, as the game works to win back the trust of its audience, players are getting their first look at what will be included in the upcoming Home feature.

Rumors of Infinity Nikki's Home feature have continued to swirl over the past few months, and now, a new blog post made by the game's developers is shining some light on what the system will entail. Players won't only be able to decorate a house, but an entire heart-shaped floating island, complete with multiple themed zones and natural wonders that can be unlocked over time. Fairies inhabit this mysterious island, and Nikki will be able to trade with them for furniture blueprints and unique items. While many players were worried about having to grind while decorating their home, Infold promises that the feature is meant to feel "peaceful, rewarding, and delightfully unhurried." Additionally, the developers shared some of the activities players can enjoy in their new home, including fishkeeping, crafting, planting, construction, ability combination, and more. Hundreds of pieces of furniture will be available when the feature is added in Version 1.9.

Infinity Nikki Devs Share First Look at the Upcoming Home Feature

Last month, a new leak implied that a new map will be added to Infinity Nikki in Version 2.0. This area, dubbed the Twinmoon Kingdom, will reportedly be a magical land of mushrooms, featuring a new Ability Outfit for Nikki along with giants, dragons, and more. Initially, this map was thought to be coming in an earlier patch, but players will need to wait a little while longer before exploring a new section of Miraland.

Unfortunately, Infinity Nikki isn't coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 any time soon, despite ample player demand. While a port may be possible somewhere down the line, Infold Games has gone on record to state that it's not an immediate concern. As players return to the gacha game, however, the developers may see enough love for the dress-up game to introduce it to a wider audience in the future.
