How to Unlock Kindled Inspiration: Meaning of Blue Tears Quest in Infinity Nikki

The Kindled Inspiration: Meaning of Blue Tears quest is one of many added as part of Infinity Nikki's Blue Tears Season (1.7) update. To unlock it, you first need to complete the Every Tear Remembers exclusive quest, which you'll immediately receive upon logging in after downloading the update. After you complete its objectives, you'll be able to start the season's various sidequests, including the latest Kindled Inspiration quest.

You can first find it by going to your Events menu and then selecting the 'Fun to Play' option on the left side. Once there, select the exclamation point icon from the categories on the left. This brings you to two lists of sidequests - 'Blue Tears Adventures' and 'Blue Tears Encounters'. Select the 'Encounters' tab and there you'll find Kindled Inspiration: Meaning of Blue Tears available. Select it and you'll get the option to track the quest's starting location on your map.

This quest is found deep within Breezy Meadow, near a riverbank. Use the 'Abandoned Fantatic Wisher Camp Outpost' Warp Spire to get there more easily. Follow the path away from the camp ruins and veer left near the quest icon (seen above). You'll find a lone Faewish Sprite named Unabo by the riverbank. Speak to them to start their quest.

Similar to other Kindled Inspiration quests in Infinity Nikki, to complete Unabo's objective, you need to acquire and equip an outfit that accurately fits their described request. In this case, they want you to wear an outfit that looks like "blue tears bubbling up". This is the one hint you're given, and it's up to you to figure out what clothes align with that description.

Unlike styling challenge quests that take you straight to your wardrobe with a preset rubric, for Kindled Inspiration quests you'll need to manually open your wardrobe and use one of your custom outfit slots to equip the required outfit piece(s). Bear in mind that it doesn't matter what other items you currently have equipped on Nikki, as long as you have the required piece(s) equipped with them.

Where to Find Whispering Bubbles Dress

In the case of Unabo's request, the outfit piece that most closely resembles "blue tears bubbling up" is the Whispering Bubbles dress. This dress piece is part of the Bubbly Voyage ability outfit, which you obtain very early on in the game's main story. In fact, you get it automatically as your first ability outfit, so it's literally impossible to miss out on.

You only need the dress itself to satisfy the objective for the quest. However, if you want to just automatically equip the entire outfit out of convenience, you can do that as well. Either way, once you have the dress on, speak to Unabo again, and they'll thank you for the fashionable inspiration with a handful of rewards.

For completing the Kindled Inspiration: Meaning of Blue Tears quest in Infinity Nikki, one special reward you receive is the Bonded Heart's Wish sketch, which allows you to craft the Bonded Heart's Wish footwear for Nikki. To craft it, you need 3.0kg x Quillfin (a fish found in), 25 x Thread of Purity, and 8,000 x Blings. You also receive 30 x Diamonds for your efforts, which can go toward pulls on the limited-time In Tears We Meet Again resonance banner, if you wish.
