InZOI Fans Will Want to Mark August 15 on Their Calendars

InZOI fans will want to make sure they're free on August 15, as publisher Krafton confirms a new livestream will give players their very first look at the life simulation title's first DLC: Island Getaway. According to Krafton, the special livestream will feature exclusive reveals surrounding the first DLC, as well as fresh gameplay insights and some behind-the-scenes stories from the InZOI team.

After decades of the life simulation genre being dominated by EA's The Sims, Krafton gave the series a viable competitor when it released InZOI earlier this year. Although it may still be in early access, InZOI has already received many updates that have taken on board player feedback, added new features, and much more. While it received largely positive reviews from players, the community has been patiently waiting for more content to be added to the game, as some feel that it is a little barebones in its current state. Thankfully, the wait is almost over, as fans will soon get their very first look at the game's first DLC next month.

InZOI's first DLC is well into development, and Krafton is officially gearing up to show Island Getaway to the world next month. In a new post on the game's Twitter, Krafton has announced that a new live stream will take place on Friday, August 15, at 1 AM UTC. During the live stream, which will air for free on InZOI's YouTube channel, Krafton will give fans some exclusive reveals, fresh gameplay insights, and some behind-the-scenes stories from the game's developers. Those eager to get their very first look at the free DLC will want to make sure they tune in for this special stream.

InZOI DLC Preview Coming August 15

The exact release date for the update is currently unknown. The official roadmap for InZOI did state that it would be released in August, and the studio has also recently revealed that it will be at Gamescom on August 19 to show more of InZOI's first DLC. With two preview events set for next month, one can only assume that Island Getaway will be released towards the end of the month.

For those who don't know, the Island Getaway DLC will add new gameplay features, such as the ability for Zois to own boats and travel between islands. Speaking of islands, the free DLC will also add a brand-new island known as Cahaya to the game. Zois will be able to live and work on the island while also using boats to travel between the islands whenever they wish.

While the Island Getaway DLC remains a top priority for Krafton, the studio recently announced that another major InZOI update has been delayed. The update, which was initially set for September, was going to add further modding improvements to the game. However, it will now launch sometime in October.
