From the minds behind A Way Out, It Takes Two is a similar adventure game that hopes to bring back classic couch co-op gameplay. Like many other adventure co-op games, It Takes Two has many mini-games for fans to practice their teamwork capabilities with others for fun.
In total, there are about 25 different co-op minigames in It Takes Two. Gamers can get to them by following the drumming sound in the levels and finding the tambourines with purple streamers. These games usually only take about a minute to complete, with most of them requiring quick button pressing.
While there isn't any direct achievement for beating the mini-games, gamers get the satisfaction of beating their opponents. For fans who want to experience everything that It Takes Two has to offer, here are the mini-game locations.
Whack a Cody
This is one of the first mini-games players will come across in the Shed level. Halfway through the level, Dr. Hakim will force players to try it out.
Flip the Switch
This game can be found shortly after the Whack a Cody game. Once gamers complete the puzzle, go right down the pathway, and the mini-game should be down the hall.
Tug of War
After players make their way through the tree, they should eventually encounter a soccer ball. Turn left from the soccer ball, and the soccer minigame should be across the room.
Plunger Dunger
To get to this, gamers need to complete the floating fish portion of the tree level and get dropped off onto the ground. The minigame will appear right in front of them when they are done.
Tank Brothers
Once players reach the Pillow Fort chapter of the game, go straight and find a pathway that leads towards the beginning section of the chapter. Once there, there will be game consoles on the ground with the Tank Brothers logo.
Spacewalk
After gamers turn on the first robot in the Spaced Out chapter, the tunnel behind it will be available for entry. Float upwards and go through the opening on the first layer that leads to a portal. Enter the portal, and it will lead straight to the mini-game. The A Way Out easter egg can be found here.
Laser Tennis
Close to where players found the Spacewalk mini-game, go up the float tube to the next set of portals, and look for an opening. This tennis video game will be in one of those portals higher up.
Rodeo
Once gamers get to the Hopscotch chapter, go forwards and jump over the blocks. Fans should find themselves in a new area with a road mat on the ground with the mini-game in the back corner.
Feed The Reptile
Around the rail-riding portion of the Hopscotch chapter, players should look for the one cow square tile. Then, follow the green path around the wall, and the mini-game should appear.
Batting Team
After gamers finish the etch-a-sketch in the Hopscotch level, jump on the pathway of floating blocks. There should be a baseball toy on top of some floating blocks on the right that leads to the baseball mini-game.
