Ortega explained that when she arrived on the Dublin, Ireland set, she saw several trucks along with a walkway that was set up between Lady Gaga's trailer and tents. She said:

"I went to my tent to hang out and they replaced my dirty tent with like brand-new tents... I had a barber's chair, they gave me fancy water, everything, we like really did it up for her, guys. We really wanted to impress her."

This is a fun anecdote, especially since viewers have been so curious about Lady Gaga's Nevermore Academy appearance. While Ortega didn't share any Lady Gaga character details, she did call the singer "sweet" and "humble" and described her as "just a normal person." It sounds like they got along well while filming as Lady Gaga said she had "an amazing time" with Ortega. On March 13th, 2025, Ortega said during an Entertainment Tonight interview that Lady Gaga was "great" and her character was not "what people expect her to be." Although she didn't share details then, either, it's definitely intriguing to hear that. Perhaps Lady Gaga is playing a villain who visits Nevermore Academy briefly or even a long-lost member of the Addams Family.

Wednesday season 1 revolved around the villain the Hyde Monster causing destruction at Nevermore Academy and the nearby small town of Jericho, and season 2 will feature a mysterious plotline about Wednesday Addams's stalker. There is a lot to look forward to in Wednesday season 2, including Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) wearing a red dress and an episode inspired by slasher movies. It will be interesting to see who Lady Gaga plays, along with whether Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) is a villain this time around or if he and Wednesday work together.

Besides praising Lady Gaga and sharing that the cast and crew wanted to impress her while filming Wednesday season 2, Ortega also talked during her The Late Show with Stephen Colbert appearance about wearing a dress made from glass. She said she was "uncomfortable and extremely comfortable at the same time."
