Cursed Child Arc

  • The Cursed Child

Ever since his first appearance, Yuta had been described as a prodigy in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, boasting some of the highest Cursed Energy in the verse and having access to the powerful Vengeful Spirit, Rika. In the Culling Game arc, Yuta is set to show exactly why he's one of the strongest in the series, with notable moments of him showcasing his strength against powerful ancient sorcerers in high-stakes fights and Domain Clashes.

There are many stand-out moments for Yuta during the Culling Game, but his three-way battle against Uro and Ryu goes down as one of the best battles in the entirety of Jujutsu Kaisen, where these three powerful sorcerers use their techniques to their limits, ultimately ending the battle with a legendary triple Domain clash.

Cursed Child Arc

  • The Ghost of the Zenin

Maki was always a fairly weak character due to her unique situation of being a twin. However, in the Culling Game, her Heavenly Restriction was fully realized as the last amount of her Cursed Energy was stripped away from her, effectively turning her into another Toji whose physical prowess was far beyond anyone else. With her newly awakened powers, she became an unstoppable killing machine.

In the Culling Game arc, Maki stands out as the only character with a Heavenly Restriction who easily exists among the top brass of Jujutsu sorcerers. Her finest moment in the arc is right after she awakens her full potential, going on a full massacre of the Zenin clan when she does.

Hakari Is Destined To Become A Fan Favorite Because Of His Personality

Jujutsu Kaisen's Most Fun Character

Fearsome Womb Arc

  • The Restless Gambler

For those who have read the manga, arguably their most anticipated character is Kinji Hakari. Hakari's story, fighting style, and abilities are some of the most hilarious and unique in the series, but none of them take away from how cool and powerful of a character he truly is, which is something noted by even Satoru Gojo. Once his Domain, Idle Death Gamble, gets animated, fans will be in for one of Jujutsu Kaisen's greatest sequences.

Hakari tends to steal every scene that he is in, but his shining moment comes in his fight against Hajime Kashimo, which is arguably the best fight in all of Jujutsu Kaisen and one of the highlights of the Culling Game. Plus, the fact that he is voiced by the legendary Kazuya Nakai is only going to make him better.

Higuruma Is A Talent On The Same Tier As Gojo And Sukuna

A Prodigious Sorcerer

First Appearance

Jujutsu Kaisen, Chapter 143, "One More Time"

Story Arc

Culling Game Arc

  • The Most Talented Sorcerer

Although Higuruma isn't as flashy as Hakari or as brutal as Maki, he is a sorcerer who shines in the Culling Game arc. Starting off as one of the top players of the game, Higuruma was initially a massive threat that Yuji had to face, even coming close to death in their encounter due to Higuruma's incredibly overpowered Cursed Technique; Deadly Sentencing. However, eventually Higuruma would join the side of the heroes.

Although his true power and worth would be seen in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, Higuruma was quite a formidable foe during the Culling Game and was an indispensable ally after it, as he managed to masterfully understand Cursed Energy despite using it for a very short amount of time.

Hajime Kashimo Was The Culling Game's Fiercest Combatant

The Strongest Of The Edo Period

First Appearance

Jujutsu Kaisen, Chapter 158, "Kogane"

Story Arc

Culling Game

  • The God of Lightning

The Culling Game was designed to pit sorcerers in order for them to kill each other, and none were better at this than Hajime Kashimo. Similarly to Gojo and Sukuna, Kashimo was once also known as the strongest during his time in the Edo Period, but he could never fight someone equal to him, prompting him to undergo reincarnation in the hopes of fighting Sukuna.

Kashimo had the highest kill count in the entire event and is considered by many to be the most deadly participant in the game due to his mastery of Cursed Energy and overall strength. His greatest moment comes in the incredible battle against Hakari, where both show that they are worthy of being designated as Special Grade Sorcerers.

Jujutsu Kaisen can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
