If there’s one character in Jujutsu Kaisen that always stole the show, it is the strongest modern sorcerer and the face of the franchise, Gojo Satoru. Gojo’s strength made him stand out from the rest, and he was known as the strongest in Japan. More than that, Gojo was wildly popular with the fans, and still is to this day. Gojo was, sadly, beaten by Sukuna during the Shinjuku Showdown arc, but as confirmed by Gege, that wasn’t necessarily because Sukuna was stronger. Gojo let his guard down and died.

The Next Gojo Satoru will rise in the world of JJK Modulo and become Japan's very best sorcerer.
Sukuna didn't necessarily surpass him in power, especially as he needed the Ten Shadow Technique to take him down, but Gege just introduced a new character in the sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, who might actually be stronger than Gojo and stand on top as the king of sorcerers. This character is none other than the king of Simurians, Dabura. Dabura’s powers are still a mystery, but he will most certainly have abilities that will rival even Limitless.

Gojo has, and will always be, Jujutsu Kaisen’s most iconic character. He's known to be very charismatic, but his real appeal is his strength. Satoru was blessed with the incredible abilities of the Gojo clan, the Six Eyes and Limitless. These abilities put Gojo above the rest, and his only real competition in JJK was always Sukuna.
However, this has changed with the beginning of JJK’s sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. Modulo is set 68 years after Gojo’s death and introduces a whole new cast of characters, including extraterrestrial beings known as the Simurians. Among these Simurians, one character stands out to be potentially superior to both Gojo and Sukuna, and it’s none other than Dabura, the Simurian King.

JJK wasn't known for its incredible writing, but Gege has been beating expectations with Modulo.
Dabura has yet to showcase his powers, but the narrative is clear about him. He is a Sukuna-level threat, and that's without him even showing an ounce of his power. Taking into consideration the narrative, he is likely even stronger than the King of Curses and Gojo Satoru.
Dabura’s Cursed Technique Is A Mystery
A Technique That Will Definitely Rival Limitless When Revealed
While Gojo possessed incredible abilities he inherited from his clan, Dabura’s powers remain a huge mystery for now. However, regardless of what Dabura’s cursed technique will be, it is sure to be an ability that can match even Gojo’s Limitless. What this new technique could entail is a mystery, but it should be even greater than Maru’s law of order control, at the very least, and Maru’s technique on its own rivals Limitless in some ways. On top of an overpowered cursed technique, Dabura will also have great physical power, as well as a third eye ability that channels his Rolluca, or cursed energy. Fans just have to wait and see what Gege has in store as the story of Modulo progresses further.
Jujutsu Kaisen is currently one of the biggest shonen series in the world. The manga, which ended in late 2024, can be read online for free. It is available to access on Manga Plus, where this series used to be made available weekly. Jujutsu Kaisen currently has a sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 10 will be released on November 9, 2025.
