This article contains spoilers from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo continues strong even today, with its 10th chapter having dropped very recently. Fans have been loving the start that this manga has had, and it keeps getting better with each passing chapter. This is especially true as the next segment of Jujutsu Kaisen seems to be focused on one of the most popular characters, Yuki Itadori. For months, fans were debating whether Yuji Itadori was alive in Modulo, since 68 years had passed since the Shinjuku Showdown, and it was recently confirmed that he was indeed alive.

More than that, along with confirming to the fans that Yuji Itadori is alive, Gege Akutami also confirmed that, at the moment, Yuji Itadori is also the strongest sorcerer in Japan. This might come as a shock to some, considering his age, but Yuji has always been a special case in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. A new exciting plotline surrounding the previous protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen unfolds in the new sequel manga, and fans know that this story is only going to get better moving forward. Right now, the need for Japan's strongest sorcerer is high, especially with the Simurians contemplating options for an invasion on the side.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is set 68 years after the end of the Shinjuku Showdown, which means that the vast majority of the old sorcerers aren't alive anymore. Right at the beginning of the new manga, it was confirmed that Yuta Okkotsu had died, along with Maki Zenin. Panda was deactivated, for the most part, years ago. Naturally, most of the old cast is rather extremely old and weak, or just dead at this point in the story.

We must find Yuji Itadori. He is the only one who can act as a deterrent against them. — Sorcerers

This led fans to wonder who the real strongest sorcerer in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen is at the moment, and the answer has been revealed by Gege Akutami himself. At the moment, Japan's strongest sorcerer is none other than Yuji Itadori, the protagonist of the original JJK series.

Yuji Itadori is still alive in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, and the best part is that he hasn't even aged much. Yuji's body is special, as he was birthed by Kenjaku to be Sukuna's vessel. On top of that, he also has the power of the Cursed Wombs, and all things considered, his body ages differently from others. Yuji was clearly seen recently in the manga, and it is clear to see that he isn't old at all when he should really be frail and in his 80s.

Gege cleverly confirmed that Yuji Itadori is the strongest sorcerer in Japan at the moment in JJK Modulo Chapter 10. As the threat of the Simurians was discussed in Japan, it became clear that some were opposed to cooperation with them and considered it necessary to take measures that ensure the security of humans. One such measure was to seek their own deterrent against the Simurians so they don't walk all over the humans.

At the moment, Dabura has already been revealed to the humans as a monster. But, the humans haven't revealed their trump card. In JJK Modulo Chapter 10, it was confirmed that their own trump card is none other than Itadori Yuji, which is why they're now considering finding him.

Yuji Itadori Is Officially Alive

It appears that Yuji Itadori is alive and well, and fans saw him walking among a crowd in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 10. More importantly, it seems Yuji has defected from the Jujutsu organization and is now working independently. Based on how Gege has been talking about him, it appears that the new strongest sorcerer, Yuji Itadori, has not been located for years, which only adds more intrigue to his story. Fans can't wait to see what comes next in JJK Modulo.

Jujutsu Kaisen's sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 11 will be released on November 16, 2025. Fans can read the chapter for free on Manga Plus.
