While it isn’t officially confirmed at the moment, it’s more than likely that Gojo will indeed make a comeback in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3. Gojo will likely be unsealed near the end of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3. For this to happen, the anime would have to adapt 85 manga chapters in total, which is definitely doable and would actually be comparable to Season 2. The episode count for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is set to be 24, so a decently paced third season would easily mark the return of Gojo Satoru at the very end. On top of that, there is no better place to end Season 3 than the moment of Gojo's unsealing.

Gojo vs Sukuna Movie Is A Possibility
With Gojo reportedly making a comeback in the last episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, there is a chance of the series taking a big step forward and giving the fans a much-anticipated movie.
Ending Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 at Gojo's unsealing opens up the possibility of a Gojo vs Sukuna movie. Fans have long wanted the fight between Gojo and Sukuna to be adapted into a movie. This is likelier than ever now, with the recent success of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. Seeing Gojo vs Sukuna animated with a movie budget on the big screens would be a dream for any JJK fan.

Jujutsu Kaisen is currently one of the biggest shonen series in the world. The manga, which ended in late 2024, can be read online for free. It is available to access on Manga Plus, where this series used to be made available weekly. Jujutsu Kaisen currently has a sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 9 will be released on November 2, 2025.
