Jujutsu Kaisen is nearing its end, and fans know that the chapter they get this week is going to be absolutely sensational, especially because of the events that the last chapter covered. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268 is heavily anticipated, even more so after the return of Nobara Kugisaki in the previous chapter.
Jujutsu Kaisen: How Did Nobara Survive, Explained
Nobara made her return in JJK. How did she survive Mahito's attack?
The fight between Yuji and Sukuna is already at the climax, which means that he will be defeated at any moment now, making the events of this series even more interesting going forward. Of course, there is still the finale of this battle to be dealt with, which is exactly what JJK chapter 268 is going to be focusing on, and fans absolutely cannot wait for that.
Nobara And Yuji Strike Sukuna And Push The Fight To The End
- Nobara Returned In JJK 267
- Yuji Prepares For His Sure Hit
Going into JJK chapter 268, fans need to remember that the most important thing here is that Sukuna is up against two powerful damage dealers directly to the soul. Yuji and Nobara specialize in dealing Soul Damage, and this is the important part here. Sukuna might have been able to withstand someone else in battle, but Nobara joining the battle essentially spells his doom. This is because Nobara is nowhere near him, and, more importantly, she can still deal direct damage to his very soul. This will also allow Yuji an opportunity to land his powerful attacks on the king of curses, and, of course, in doing so, wrap up the battle. In JJK chapter 268, fans will see Yuji and Nobara combine. Fans might remember them joining forces in the battle against Eso and Kechizu, two of the Death Paintings.
Now, this time around, they are going to be joining forces against the strongest, Ryomen Sukuna. Given that Sukuna has already suffered tremendous amounts of damage, these two are going to keep up the intensity and weaken him even further. Nobara will most definitely land stronger techniques on the King of Curses, and fans might even get to see a new technique being unleashed by her. After all, Nobara has not really grown much ever since she was cut out of the plot, and her return should be marked with something new, just as was the case with the likes of Todo and many others.
If that were to be the case, then Nobara dealing damage to Sukuna in JJK chapter 268 would open up the room for Yuji to land another powerful attack and, essentially, end the battle.
Sukuna Coughs Up the Fingers, And Megumi Strikes
Sukuna Will Be Weakened Even Further In JJK Chapter 267
JJK chapter 268 will most definitely see a major event taking place, and that is Sukuna coughing up the fingers that he has ingested. These fingers are essentially Sukuna’s way of asserting control over his vessel, and if he does cough them up, then Megumi is going to enter the fight more. When Yuji delivered powerful attacks on the King of Curses previously, he coughed up three fingers, but immediately swallowed them back. Sukuna then went on to say that if this keeps up, he is going to lose control over Megumi's body and essentially be defeated. Sukuna cannot afford to cough up the fingers at any cost.
However, now that Nobara has joined the battle with Yuji and direct damage is being dealt to his soul, Sukuna absolutely cannot withstand the pressure. This essentially means that JJK chapter 268 will see Sukuna cough up some fingers, and with that, his power level will be reduced. Depending on how many fingers he coughs up, fans could actually see him getting even weaker than he was in Shibuya, which means defeating him is going to be quite easy from there onwards.
JJK chapter 268 essentially needs this plot point to happen going forward, and much of that is down to the fact the manga is ending in the next four chapters. If Sukuna doesn't fall in this upcoming chapter, then the author will have to use another chapter on his defeat, which means that the aftermath of the war will not get enough time to be focused on. As such, Sukuna coughing up something in the next chapter is pivotal.
This is also how Megumi is going to enter the fight in the next chapter, and fans should expect him to tussle much more. Just like Nobara will play her role, Megumi still has his to play, and essentially, he is going to utilize his shadows to incapacitate Sukuna in one way or another. Of course, this will be his biggest contribution in this fight, and with that, Sukuna will be close to finally falling. All that would be left is for Yuji to deal the final blow and end the battle for good.
Yuji Lands His Sure Hit On Ryomen Sukuna
Yuji's Domain Finally Strikes And Ends The Fight Against Sukuna
JJK chapter 268 could potentially mark the end of the battle between Yuji and Sukuna. This battle is incredibly close to its end now, and the author can easily wrap it up in the next chapter if he wants to. Essentially, Nobara has joined the battle now, and with that, Sukuna is on his last legs. Megumi is going to be involved more and more from here onwards as well, which essentially means that the King of Curses has no way of getting himself out of this situation. If both of them hate Yuji in the next chapter, he will be free to launch his powerful Sure Hit attack, which fans have not seen yet.
This sure hit attack could be anything, but given the trend that is continually being built up over the course of the last few chapters, it is likely going to be a powerful Soul Dismantle. If this Soul Dismantle does end up hitting the king of curses, then he will suffer tremendous amounts of damage and, with that, likely spit up the vast majority of his fingers, and also lose the battle.
All that will be left will be for Yuji to take him down properly and end the battle in Shinjuku. Of course, it is unfortunate that, given the way this battle is headed, the merger is likely not going to happen, which fans really felt was a plot point that needed to be tackled. JJK's end has surely been rushed, which means that this is what the fans are going to be getting over the course of the next few chapters. Sukuna will most likely fall in JJK chapter 268, or his fall will be set up in the upcoming chapter. Either way, the war in Shinjuku is now close to wrapping up, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see how Yuji does it in the upcoming chapter.
