Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is just getting started, and fans know very well that Gege Akutami is doing incredibly well to write an intriguing plot so far. When Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo began and fans were told that the Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin’s grandchildren would be the protagonists, fans were utterly ecstatic to see how the plot would develop. However, just two chapters in, the series is already getting fans hooked.

In chapter 2 of JJK Modulo, fans officially saw the main villain of the series, and it is safe to say that this character is now hyped into oblivion by the author. As stated in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 2, the King of Simurians is an absolute monster and someone that can be considered to be a same level of threat as Ryomen Sukuna, which also means that he should be comparable to Gojo as well. Finally, Jujutsu Kaisen has another monstrously powerful character, and the readers can't wait to see a glimpse of his power.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 2, fans saw the Simurians and their advisor meet up with the Japanese for the very first time and it goes without saying that without even lifting a finger, the Simurians absolutely blew them away. Firstly, they spoke Japanese, which the sorcerers weren't expecting.

This took Japan by shock and gave the advantage to Simurians. But even more importantly, they actually brought their King along, and just the aura emanating off of him was enough to freeze even top-level sorcerers in their place.

As fans know, Usami is a very powerful sorcerer. Many even consider him to be the strongest Grade 1 Sorcerer, which means his overall level should've been around Nanami or Todo in JJK. Whether he's gotten stronger or weaker remains to be seen, but the fact is that he's extremely powerful. Another thing to note is that Usami is very well aware of the power level of Gojo Satoru. For him to react to the King of Simurians in the way he did implies that this is a monstrous being.

Is The King Of Simurians Stronger Than Sukuna?

They Should Be Close In Overall Power

The full power of the King of Simurians hasn't been revealed yet, but what can be said for sure is that he is at least as strong as Sukuna. The King of Simurians was stated to be strong enough to wipe out everything in an instant if he wanted to. The aura he gave off was definitely comparable to that of Sukuna, especially if sorcerers were left frozen in their places. To top it all off, Gege explicitly stated that the threat of the Simurians is Sukuna-level. Their strongest has to be comparable to Sukuna, otherwise, the statements won't make much sense.

In fact, Japan is only basing things on what they've seen and heard. In reality, this could be a threat even above the level of Ryomen Sukuna, which makes things all the more exciting in JJK Modulo.

Jujutsu Kaisen is currently one of the biggest shonen series in the world. The manga, which ended in late 2024, can be read online for free. It is available to access on Manga Plus, where this series used to be made available weekly. Jujutsu Kaisen currently has a sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 3 will be released on September 21, 2025.
