But, come the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen story, fans know that Gojo died. The strongest sorcerer of the modern era, Gojo Satoru was quite obviously the strongest in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen at the beginning. Fans saw Gojo fight against the likes of Special Grade Curses and absolutely dominate without even going all out, and this was largely down to the powers that he was blessed with. Gojo Satoru had access to the Limitless Cursed Technique, something that only a few in the history of the Gojo clan inherited. At the same time, Gojo also had the Six Eyes, a trait that allows one to study cursed energy down to the most intrinsic level. The last sorcerer to be born with both existed around 400 years ago, and, as such, Gojo's birth shook the whole world.

Over the years, he grew into his powers and honed them the best he could. Gojo then went on to hit his peak, and his fight against Sukuna, where he pushed back the King of Curses shows his immense power. In fact, Gojo was fighting a handicap battle here, given that Sukuna not only had Megumi’s body, but also the Ten Shadows Technique, and above all, Mahoraga. Yet, Gojo almost won the battle, and only lost due to plot armor, as confirmed by the author. Now that Gojo is dead, a new generation of sorcerers is coming to surpass him.

At the same time, fans know very well that Yuta spending time in Gojo's body also allowed him to better himself, and when he reaches his peak, he can very well rival even the strongest of sorcerers.

Megumi Has The Potential To Rival Gojo, and Sukuna Made Him Stronger

Similarly, Megumi Fushiguro was canonically stated by Gojo to have the potential to reach his level. On top of that, Sukuna spent time in his body. If he inherits any of Sukuna's powers, he can actually go beyond Gojo's level.
