Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo Satoru Officially Returns In The JJK Modulo Manga

Jujutsu Kaisen fans have endured quite a difficult year, largely due to the author of the series, Gege Akutami dropping the curtain on the story after the events of the Shinjuku Showdown arc. At the same time, fans know very well that the last arc of the series was incredibly difficult for the fans to accept, especially since the Strongest Sorcerer of the Modern Era, Gojo Satoru, officially fell in battle, and along with him, many other characters died as well.

Jujutsu Kaisen's end was somewhat tragic and very difficult for fans to accept, especially when it comes to those who love Gojo Satoru. Now, however, Jujutsu Kaisen is officially back with its sequel, Modulo, and it is safe to say that new life has been breathed into the franchise. Fans are once again excited at the prospect of the Jujutsu Kaisen world being explored again, especially since they were given a glimpse of Gojo Satoru in the sequel to the story. Of course, Gojo is still dead, but he showed up in JJK Modulo Chapter 1 as the savior of Japan from Ryomen Sukuna.

Jujutsu Kaisen fans were absolutely delighted to see Gojo Satoru in the latest JJK Modulo Sequel chapter. When the new threat to Japan was being discussed, it was stated that it is most likely on the same level as Ryomen Sukuna from the Shinjuku Showdown that devastated Japan.

Back then, however, Gojo Satoru existed and he did incredibly well to stop Sukuna, with Yuki wrapping up the job for good. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen teared up at seeing Gojo and his proud group of sorcerers once again in the chapter, and it goes without saying that this return was definitely worth the wait.

Of course, fans know very well that Gojo Satoru isn't alive in the current era. The story is set 68 years after the end of Jujutsu Kaisen. Even if Gojo were alive, he'd be around 96 right now, or in other words, would've died of old age. Regardless, fans seeing bits and pieces of Gojo in the sequel to JJK is absolutely fascinating.

Gojo Satoru Is Long Dead But the Gojo Clan Continues

The Practices Of The Gojo Clan Are Still Shameful

While Gojo Satoru is dead, the Gojo Clan certainly isn't. As is quite clear, Yuta Okkotsu led the Gojo Clan after the fall of Gojo Satoru. His children, who are unknown, likely followed suit, and right now, the story is focused on Yuka and Tsurugi, both of whom are also members of the Gojo Clan. There are also other Gojo Clan members, and some of them might even be inheritors of the legendary Limitless Cursed Technique, or perhaps the Six Eyes.

Above all, fans know very well that the Gojo Clan continues to practice a lack of respect for the freedom of others and isn't so much different from the cage that it was for many in the past. In that sense, the clan is still plagued and someone will have to fix that soon.

Jujutsu Kaisen is currently one of the biggest shonen series in the world. The manga, which ended in late 2024, can be read online for free. It is available to access on Manga Plus, where this series used to be made available weekly. Jujutsu Kaisen currently has a sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 2 will be released on September 14, 2025.
