The Jujutsu society of Japan revolves heavily around the three big families, and fans were introduced properly to them in the original Jujutsu Kaisen series. These families of the Kamo, Zenin, and Gojo, are incredibly powerful and have a tremendous influence on how the country is run. Thanks to Maki, the Zenin Clan was completely wiped out, while the Kamo Clan took a big hit as well. The Gojo Clan suffered a lot after the death of the prodigy, Gojo Satoru.

Fans know very well that the Gojo Clan plays a central role in the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo series, and that it is only a matter of time before the series sheds more light on the many characters within the clan. At the moment, the Gojo Clan is already the center of attention, largely because they are connected to the protagonists, Yuka and Tsurugi. After the passing of Yuta Okkotsu, fans know that the dynamics of the Gojo Clan changed heavily. Their new leader was also chosen, and it is highly likely that it was the child of Yuta and Maki.

The very first leader of the Gojo Clan that the fans were introduced to in Jujutsu Kaisen is none other than Gojo Satoru. Fans know very well that he led the Gojo Clan for the vast majority of the series, and that he was the strongest sorcerer, and consequently, their strongest asset in the story. But, during the Shinjuku Showdown battle, Gojo Satoru officially faced defeat and he lost his life in the process.

After Gojo, the Clan took a drastic decision and Yuta Okkotsu was made the acting head of the clan. This is likely because Gojo and Yuta share blood through Michizane Sugawara, an ancestor of theirs. Yuta led the Gojo Clan as the acting head for quite some time, until he died, around 6 years ago in the story. Naturally, after Yuta's death, a new leader of the Gojo Clan was elected.

It is highly likely that the son of Yuta and Maki went on to become the head of the Gojo Clan. For one, fans know very well that Yuta Okkotsu and Maki did have children, but also that the mother of Yuka and Tsurugi doesn't look like Yuta or Maki. The implication here is that she married into the Gojo Clan, and that Yuta and Maki had a son, who was likely, or possibly still is, the next head of the Gojo Clan.

Yuka Is The Inheritor Of Yuta's Powers and Rika

It is possible that in the future, Yuka Okkotsu will become the next head of the Gojo Clan. This might come as a surprise to some fans, but the fact is that Yuka Okkotsu inherited Yuta's powers, which means she inherited the power of Michizane Sugawara as well. On top of that, Yuka was specifically entrusted with Rika by Yuta, which means that he saw her as his successor. When Yuka grows stronger, she could very well end up becoming the new leader of the Gojo Clan.
