Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the biggest series right now, and that is even after the manga for the series concluded back in 2024, which was definitely a huge disappointment to the fans, especially as the story felt unfinished and cut short by Gege Akutami, the mangaka.

With the manga having ended, fans only really have the animated content to look forward to, which consists of the new Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen, as well as the new movie which will drop soon.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is especially exciting to look forward to as it will be brand new animated content. The upcoming arcs are some of the most intense in the story, with some of the biggest battles, and major characters like Yuji, Yuta, and even Ancient Sorcerers taking part. It is no surprise that the staff working on this new season are looking forward to it.

The director of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Shota Goshozono, has revealed something interesting to fans about this very season. During anime Expo 2024, it was revealed that the character he is most looking forward to is Maki.

Anyone familiar with the upcoming story plot isn’t surprised, as Maki is about to have a pretty substantial role, especially when it comes to her family. This will change her completely as a character, and fans definitely can’t wait.

This is definitely good news for Maki fans, as it means her parts are going to be handled well when adapted into the anime, which is usually the case anyway with Jujutsu Kaisen, as it is known for its incredible anime adaptation.

What makes her interesting as a character is her relationship with her family, the Zenin clan, one of the big three clans in Jujutsu Kaisen. This family keeps trying to sabotage her, and her relationship with them is going to be expanded on in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3.

So far, the Jujutsu Kaisen series has 2 anime seasons, as well as one movie, which was a major hit back when it dropped. The Jujutsu Kaisen anime has 47 episodes so far. Fans can check these all out on Crunchyroll, where season 3 will also be available once it drops.

For now, however, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has no exact release date, and fans will have to wait for further information to drop.
